Drift
When it came to naming our restaurant- there were many names that we each brought to the table over the last few months. Names which represented our family, our food style and personalities but regardless of that- Drift just felt right for all of us!
Firstly, we’re based on Water Street, so the name gives a subtle nod to our location.
It also captures how we want Drift to feel: relaxed, welcoming and unhurried. Somewhere you can step away from the everyday, settle in and let the time drift by over good food and good company.
Over the next few weeks we will be releasing a sample menu and the ideas we plan to bring to life but for now, we continue with the renovations and getting ready for exciting times ahead!
