Always learning. Always improving.

As Whisk And Pickle continues to grow and we take the mobile pizza kitchen to more weddings, private events and corporate days, thereโ€™s a lot more involved behind the scenes than just making pizza.

This week I completed professional trailer towing training with Towing Solutions, covering towing legislation, safety checks, manoeuvring, reversing and on-road towing.

Investing in the right training, skills and equipment is all part of making sure we can keep growing the business safely and professionally.

Still much prefer making pizzas to reversing trailers though. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ•

Introducing THE BARBER ๐Ÿ’ˆ๐Ÿ•

Named after Skemโ€™s finest (and most famous) barber, FINNAN, who dared us to create the most outrageous pizza!

The challenge was to recreate our own version of his favourite pizza topping combo. What did he want on it, you ask?
Brace yourselfโ€ฆ Tuna, Pineapple, Sweetcorn and jalapeรฑos ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿ˜‚
Oh and it needed to have his beloved CHRISTMAS SAUCE (marie rose)๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‚

๐Ÿ• Not one to shy from a challenge hereโ€™s what I createdโ€ฆ

THE BARBER:

Tomato base, mozzarella, tuna, red onions, sweetcorn & jalapeno relish, and wait for it our signature Pineapple Jam! ๐Ÿโœจ

Served with our homemade marie rose sauce (christmas sauce)๐Ÿ˜‚

No sad beige buffet. No trays of sandwiches curling at the edges. Just proper pizza and plenty of it.
