⚠️ Important Weekend Update 🍕

Please take a minute to read if you’re planning on ordering this weekend.

Due to a combination of the forecasted heat, staff holidays, and a private catering event, we’ll be making a couple of temporary changes to our opening hours.

🍕 Friday
Open 5:00pm – 8:00pm (instead of our usual 4:30pm – 9:00pm).

With temperatures set to soar again, we’re shortening service slightly to help keep the team and our fridges safe while still bringing you epic pizza.

🔒 Saturday
Closed as we’ll be catering for a private event and are also short on staff due to holidays.

If you’re planning on ordering this week, we’d recommend getting your Friday order in early as we expect it to be a busy one.

🚨 WE’RE THROUGH TO ROUND TWO! 🍕

We’re incredibly proud to share that The Ruby Murray has officially been shortlisted in Britain’s Best Pizza 2026 and has made it through to the Mystery Dining Round!

That means that over the next few weeks, one of the competition’s mystery judges could walk through our doors at any time, order a Ruby Murray just like any other customer, and judge us on:

🍕 WE’RE HIRING – DELIVERY DRIVER / PIZZA KITCHEN ASSISTANT 🍕

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking person to join the team at Whisk And Pickle Pizza Kitchen.

This isn’t your typical takeaway delivery job…

We don’t send drivers out with multiple orders at once. Our priority is making sure every pizza arrives as fresh and hot as possible, so we only ever deliver one order at a time.

Because of this, you’ll spend a large part of your shift working alongside the team in the kitchen and shop between deliveries. If you’re looking to spend the evening sat in your car waiting for deliveries, this probably isn’t the role for you!

⏰ Hours

🍕 Fridays & Saturdays (essential)
🕟 Approximately 4:30pm – 8:30/9:00pm

Additional shifts and private events may also be available.

💷 Pay

💷 £13 per hour
🚗 Delivery fee paid on top
💰 Keep 100% of your delivery tips

✅ Essential Requirements

• Aged 18+
• Full UK driving licence
• Own reliable vehicle
• Appropriate business-use insurance (or willingness to obtain it)
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Happy to get stuck in and work as part of a close-knit team

🍕 Your role will include:

• Delivering customer orders
• Boxing and packing pizzas
• Assisting with food preparation
• Washing up
• Cleaning
• Restocking
• General kitchen and shop duties
• Helping wherever needed during service

No pizza experience is necessary. We’re much more interested in finding someone with a great attitude and a strong work ethic. We’ll teach you everything else.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of catering for Annie & James’s beautiful wedding at their stunning home.

We served 120 hungry guests with our Epic Pizza Buffet, firing out hand stretched pizzas throughout the afternoon while everyone celebrated.

🔥 IMPORTANT - We’re Closed Tonight 🔥

Unfortunately, we’ve made the decision to close this evening due to the extreme heat.

As much as we hate letting people down, with temperatures expected to reach 34°c inside the kitchen will be reaching levels where it’s simply not safe or practical for the team to work around the ovens.

We’d rather make the call now than risk the wellbeing of our staff or compromise the quality of the food we serve.

We’ll be back open tomorrow and Saturday as the temperatures are expected to cool a little. 🥵
