All of our food is cooked by Chris our chef, who prepares your food in the kitchen to order, and Sharon who prepares a tempting selection of Homemade desserts!

After many wonderful years, this Sunday will be our final day at The Windmill. ❤️

We want to thank all of our amazing customers for your support, loyalty, and memories over the years. It has truly meant the world to us.
Before we close our doors for good, we still have some tables available this week:

After 19 wonderful years, our doors will close for the final time on Sunday 28th June after lunchtime service, since announcing our closure we have been overwhelmed by the love, support, ,memories and bookings from so many of you . We cannot thankyou enough.
We’ve been incredibly busy, but we still have a small numbers of tables available before we say our final goodbye.
If you’ve been meaning to visit one more last time, now is the time to book.
Whether you’ve celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, family gathering, or simply enjoyed a meal with friends here over the years, thank you for making our restaurant part of your lives.
We would love the chance to welcome a few more familiar faces before we close this chapter.

It is with great sadness, heartache and pain from Sunday 28th June after lunchtime service we will be closing the doors of the Windmill Restaurant for good.

We have not sold but as with many small businesses in the Uk costs are beyond belief. After 19 years in Burgh Le Marsh we refuse to compromise on quality, closing at the top with our integrity intact feels like the only way to honour what we have achieved. With things only going to get worse within the industry we have no option but to close .

By no means least we would like to thank all our staff past and present, who have given their dedication to our business making our restaurant what it is today and we will be forever grateful for all their hard work.

We would like to thank you as our customers for your loyal support, friendship and for sharing key moments in your lives with us, it means a lot.

Over the next three weeks we would love to see as many of you as possible to say thank you for your support and say goodbye personally.
We are so sorry and sad it has come to this, but for our sanity and health that must come first we have had to make this decision.

The hospitality sector has come together to launch – a united campaign and petition calling for hospitality VAT to be reduced from 20% to 10%.

Spearheaded by chef and publican Tom Kerridge, we’re working alongside trade bodies across the sector, such as and , hospitality communities like , and you, businesses across hospitality, to say 10% VAT is fair for hospitality.

Our sector pays too much tax, and VAT is the single biggest lever the Government can pull to support venues, our customers, our high streets and our local communities.

This campaign is for everyone: businesses, customers, waiting staff, chefs, kitchen porters, bar staff, hotel teams, farmers, brewers, suppliers and producers.
