Now on at the Mill we have a new beer called ‘Sublime’ by ⁠Floc. Brewing, from Canterbury. It is a 5.5% ABV juicy DDH (Double Dry Hopped) Pale Ale, with a flavour that features a soft malt body heavily hopped with Motueka, Peacharine, and Nelson Sauvin, delivering vibrant lime, stone fruit, and white grape notes.

Freshly tapped and awaiting your discerning critique, we have another outstanding beer from Bristol Beer Factory….’Independence Cask’’ is CAMRA’s Champion Beer of Britain 2026. This pale ale, with an ABV of 4.6%, uses the best of American hops built on a solid malt platform. It’s double dry-hopped to max-out those US hops in every sip.

We have a new beer freshly tapped for today….Time & Tide ‘Roger That’…. a highly rated, 4.9% ABV hazy pale ale/IPA brewed in Deal, Kent. It features a fruity, citrus-forward profile with zesty orange and tropical notes. The beer is naturally hazy, unfiltered, and vegan-friendly.The beer is brewed at a massive dry-hopping rate of 19g/L and is typically crafted with hop varieties like Nelson Sauvin, Citra, and Nectaron.

Up next at the Mill is a rare opportunity to try Goacher’s ‘Brit Hop Ale’ 3.9% ABV. This has been brewed on their pilot plant in association with Wye Hops (the research subsidiary of the British Hop Association)This is the leading centre for hop research in the UK, focusing on developing climate-resilient, disease-resistant, and flavour-forward hop varieties.
The hop used in this beer has no name and is simply referred to as EX61. There are no tasting notes either.
So, to find out what this beer is all about, bring yourself along to the Mill this Friday. Your discerning critique will be much appreciated!
