Today, only a year after diagnosis and very shortly after getting the all clear after life changing treatment... my dad is hiking for Macmillan. To say thank you to all the nurses, doctors and others that helped throughout his treatment and recovery. They continue to provide ongoing support to those suffering and also the families of those suffering. My dad is so inspiring - from having his jaw literally chopped in half to be able to remove the cancer, to losing the ability to eat, open his mouth properly, to taste and he is barely recovered but the first thing he wanted to do was give back to those who helped him.
Hundreds of people doing this walk today have raised just under 1 million for those in need.. Let's get them over that line!
Any donation, big or small would be greatly appreciated! I know Macmillan means a lot to many of you - I know it does to us π
