Iced Tea – The Naturally Refreshing Soft Drink for the Summer!
Iced tea is quickly becoming the go-to summer drink – a naturally refreshing, lower sugar alternative to traditional soft drinks. As more people look for healthier ways to stay cool, homemade iced tea offers the perfect balance of flavour, hydration, and simplicity.
Lemongrass & Ginger Lemonade Iced Tea🍋🍋🍋
Ingredients:
4 Birchall Lemongrass & Ginger tea bags
1 litre freshly boiled water
2 tbsp stem ginger syrup (optional, to taste)
150–200ml fresh lemon juice
Zest of 1 lemon (optional)
500ml cold water or soda water
Ice cubes
Garnish: lemon slices, fresh ginger, mint
Method:
Brew the tea in freshly boiled water for 6–8 minutes. Remove tea bags and allow to cool slightly.
Stir in the ginger syrup while still warm. Add lemon zest if using.
Once cooled, add the fresh lemon juice.
Chill for at least 1 hour, then dilute with cold or sparkling water to taste.
Serve over ice with plenty of garnish.

Peach & Raspberry Iced Tea🍑🍑🍑
Ingredients:
4 Birchall Serengeti tea bags
1 litre freshly boiled water
2 ripe peaches, sliced
2 tbsp honey (optional)
Juice of ½ a lemon (optional)
100g fresh raspberries
Ice cubes
Garnish: peach slices, raspberries, mint
Method:
Brew the tea for 5–7 minutes, then remove tea bags.
While warm, add peaches, half the raspberries, and honey or other sweetener of your choice if using. Lightly muddle.
Allow to cool, then chill for at least 1 hour.
Strain if preferred, or leave for a more rustic finish.
Add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving and pour over ice.

Smooth and gently malty, balanced by the juicy sweetness of peach and raspberry. Light and refreshing iced tea, ideal for easy summer sipping.
Watermelon Mint Iced Tea🍉🍉🍉
Ingredients:
4 Birchall Green Tea & Mint tea bags
1 litre just-boiled water
2–3 cups fresh watermelon
Juice of half a lime (optional)
1–2 tbsp maple syrup (optional)
Ice cubes
Garnish: fresh mint, watermelon wedges
Method:
Brew the tea for 5–7 minutes, then remove tea bags and cool slightly.
Stir in your choice of sweetener if using, then allow to cool completely.
Blend the watermelon until smooth and strain if desired.
Combine tea, watermelon juice, and lime juice. Chill for at least 1 hour.
Serve over ice with fresh mint and watermelon.
