We hosted a fantastic wine tasting with wines from and their knowledgeable Claire guided us as we went along. I only managed this quick video just as the guests arrived. A fabulous evening 🍷

A whole decade. Ten years of early mornings, late finishes, and everything in between.

When I first opened the doors to Someday Something back in 2016, I had ideas, plans, and plenty of Pinterest boards — but nothing could have prepared me for what this journey would become.

This café has grown into so much more than just a place to grab a coffee. It’s become a space for connection, for community, for sharing life’s moments — the joyful, the difficult, and everything in between.

To our incredible customers: thank you for your loyalty, your stories, and for making this place feel alive every single day. You’ve brought your families, your friendships, and your lives through our doors, and we are so grateful to be part of that.

A huge thank you to Edward from Sidmouth Design Company and his team. Your knowledge, vision, and support helped shape what we are today. A decade on, your craftsmanship is still standing strong through daily use, and the design remains as fresh and modern as ever.

To Lois — thank you.
For the countless hours of hard work, your brilliant head for numbers, and that truly impressive ability to remember every little detail. For the thinking ahead, for being the first to run towards the danger, for your laughter and everything you bring that keeps this place ticking.
But more than that — thank you for loving my family as your own, for being such a special Godmother to Lennox, and for always laughing at my jokes (even when they don’t deserve it).

To my husband Ben — thank you.
For fixing what breaks, lifting the heavy things, and making those extra trips back to the shop when I’ve inevitably forgotten something (while I stay home with my feet up). For servicing our extinguishers, PAT testing the equipment — the glamorous perks of the job! — and for years of behind-the-scenes support that so often goes unseen.
For the admin, the problem-solving, the patience… and so much more.
I might not be saving lives baking scones — but maybe, in some small way, I am. And your unwavering support across the years has been invaluable.

To my family, I’m so sorry I’ve been gone for so long. I know I’ve missed so much, and I didn’t have a clear plan. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your love and support, no matter the distance. You are always in my thoughts and forever in my heart.

Lois’ beloved Granny passed away suddenly on 1st March.

She was a cherished part of our shop, visiting every Saturday for her latte and scone, and brightening the day of everyone she met. She was deeply loved and gave that love so freely in return—a true matriarch in every sense.

Whether enjoying holidays in the sun, dancing in the garden, shopping for shoes, walking the hills, or gathering everyone together for the weekly family dinner, Teresa was always at the heart of it all—smiling, laughing, and often raising a glass of wine.

This Thursday, we will be closed to allow the family time to remember and celebrate Teresa’s life. Thank you for your understanding.

We’re in the shop today from 9am to 4pm.
Our soup today is Parsnip & Parmesan. Our frittata is Musroom, Tomato & Cheddar. We also have mince pies, mulled wine, hot apple drink, shortbread, and more!

Come and see us for our last day of 2025!

We’ll be spending the holiday period with our families and heating up for a fantastic 2026 season.
