You’ll be at the heart of our guest experience, delivering excellent service in a warm and friendly pub environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Greeting and serving customers with a friendly, professional approach
- Taking food and drink orders accurately
- Delivering food and beverages to tables
- Ensuring tables are clean, set, and ready for guests
- Handling payments and working with the till
- Working closely with the kitchen and bar team

What We’re Looking For:
- A positive, outgoing personality
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
- Reliability and a strong team ethic
- Previous experience is a bonus, but not essential

Are you a chef with desire to work within a busy independent kitchen? We're looking for someone to join our dynamic team at The Bowd Inn, a thriving pub in Sidmouth, Devon.

As a pivotal member of our team, you'll contribute to our journey by taking on an active role within the kitchen and support with food prep for the day.

Please check out our menu on www.thebowdinn.com to see the type of food we serve. You will play a key part in shaping future menus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparing food for service
- Assisting with food ordering
- Maintaining food safety and cleanliness

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Passionate about food with a drive to always demonstrate your best work
- Good all-round knowledge of cleanliness and food safety
- An understanding of ordering, wastage and margins
- An understand of dietary and allergy requirements
- Excellent time management with the ability to work under pressure
- Be able to commute to work
- A strong team player who also has the ability to work alone when needed

DESIRABLE:
- Experience at a similar premises
PAY: Competitive pay depending on experience.
