🎉🍾 CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF THE VAN ZELLER FAMILY AT THE SCOTT’S ARMS! 🍾🎉
This year marks a very special milestone for us as we celebrate 20 years of our family running The Scott’s Arms! ❤️
Our journey at The Scott’s Arms actually began back in 1999, when Ted & Julie van Zeller first arrived at the pub whilst working for Scottish & Newcastle, later Spirit Group.
After years of working in the pub industry, they went on to take over the business themselves in 2006, marking the beginning of The Scott’s Arms as a family-owned business.
With years of experience, plenty of hard work and a passion for hospitality, they set about making The Scott’s Arms the welcoming village pub and restaurant that so many of you know and love today.
In 2018, the business was sold to the next generation when their son, Glen van Zeller, took ownership, proudly keeping The Scott’s Arms in the family.
And while Glen continues to own the business, Ted & Julie are still very much part of The Scott’s Arms! ❤️
After two decades, they haven’t quite managed to retire! You’ll still find them behind the bar and welcoming customers at weekends as our Landlord and Landlady.
Meanwhile, Jane Wilton, our manager, takes care of the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring everything continues to run smoothly and our customers receive the warm welcome we’ve always been known for.
Over the past 20 years, we’ve seen so many changes, welcomed thousands of customers, celebrated countless special occasions and made some wonderful friendships along the way.
We’re incredibly proud to remain a family-owned and family-run business after all these years.
A huge thank you to all our wonderful customers, past and present, and of course our fantastic team, who have supported us throughout the last two decades. We simply wouldn’t be here without you.
Here’s to 20 years of the van Zeller family owning The Scott’s Arms, 27 years since Ted & Julie first arrived, and hopefully many more years to come! 🥂❤️
