With the weather having cooled off slightly, we'll be excited to see more furry faces around here.

We hope to create something special here, where owners and dogs can meet each other and enjoy a coffee and a walk together.

We also collect donations of blankets, food, and toys on behalf of Dogs Trust.

Does your dog want a career in modeling? We love dog photos and welcome them to our feed ALWAYS! If your pooch wants to be the poster boy or girl for our next post, let us know :) We will give them a shout out too!

While we're trying to create a social for humans and dogs alike, we are also collecting physical items for Dogs Trust . Blankets, toys, food that you may not need or have spare of, we will collect and deliver to them for the dogs in need.

With the weather cooling (slightly) we are so looking forward to seeing those furry faces and wagging tails in our venue again.

Keep your dogs cool in this demonic weather!

As much as we LOVE seeing their little faces and wagging tails at Quarry Kitchen, this heat is absolutely mental for the UK.

Where possible, please consider keeping the little guys cool and comfortable at home while we humans brave whatever fresh circle of hell the British weather has decided to throw at us. 😂

Once temperatures are a little kinder, we'll be very happy to see those wagging tails coming through the door again.

Take care, keep cool, and look after those pups!

Tonight, look up! 🌒

Something pretty special is happening in the skies tonight. A a partial solar eclipse, with peak viewing for us at around 7pm.

If you're out enjoying an evening walk around The Quarry, keep an eye on the sky and hopefully the Shropshire weather plays nicely enough for us all to catch a glimpse!

We might be closed by then, but we hope you get to enjoy the show. 💛

⚠️ Please view it safely: never look directly at the Sun. Proper eclipse glasses or another safe solar-viewing method should be used.

We’re looking for someone to join the team at Quarry Kitchen in a slightly different kind of role!

This is a hybrid Supervisor / Chef position. We need someone who is confident cooking and working independently in the kitchen, but who can also step out front and take responsibility for running the café when needed.

You’ll need to be comfortable with keyholding, opening/closing, cashing up and supervising a shift, alongside working in the kitchen.

Previous kitchen/cooking experience is essential for this role. This isn’t a purely front-of-house supervisor position. We specifically need someone who is happy and capable doing both sides of the job.

Hours to be discussed based on availability and experience. We require someone who can work weekdays and weekends as the cafe operations Monday - Sunday.

If you’re a bit of an all-rounder and like the idea of a role where no two shifts necessarily look the same, we’d love to hear from you.

Join us for a relaxed Teddy Bear Picnic on our beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the Quarry Park. Bring your favourite teddy, enjoy a delicious picnic lunch box, and spend the day making memories with fun activities, colouring, games and plenty of teddy bear adventures!

For just £10 per child, every little explorer will receive:
* A Children's Lunch Box
* A Teddy Bear Activity Book packed with puzzles, colouring and games
* Meet our friendly Teddy Mascot at 10:00am and again at 2:00pm for hugs, high fives and photos!

And don't worry... this one's for the grown-ups too.
