A chef job with a 3½ day working week AND a weekend day off?

We’re expanding our kitchen team and looking for chefs of all experience levels to join us in a dual-location role across our two Shrewsbury venues – The Olchemist & Ribeye.

🔥 3½ DAY WORKING WEEK
⏰ Minimum 35 hours per week
🏡 3½ DAYS OFF EVERY WEEK
🙌 ONE WEEKEND DAY OFF when the team is fully staffed
📍 Dual-location role across two venues
🍳 Daytime brunch & café cooking at The Olchemist
🥩 Premium steakhouse cooking at Ribeye
📈 Genuine opportunities to learn, develop & progress
💷 Competitive pay based on experience

Hospitality doesn't have to mean working 5–6 days every week and sacrificing every weekend.

Our aim is to build a strong enough team that everyone can have a proper work-life balance – 35+ guaranteed hours condensed into 3½ working days, with either a Saturday or Sunday off each week when we're fully staffed.

You'll also get variety that most chef roles don't offer, working across two completely different styles of kitchen – from busy daytime brunch service to premium steaks, butchery and evening dining.

ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS CONSIDERED.

We're just as interested in attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.
