Good news and bad news .
The bad news first … our 10 year franchise comes to an end on Saturday 6 th June😞

The good news.. we are signing a new agreement for another 5 years taking us to 2031!!!

We started back in September 2005 and had 11 years running the pub as managers then Marstons offered us the franchise in 2016
It was a bit daunting at first as we had to set up a company, deal with solicitors and accountants and all the staff were on our payroll not Marstons
It’s been a tough 10 years with Covid smack
In the middle of it and the cost of living crisis and numerous price increases but it’s also been great fun .

We have a lost a few good friends and customers along the way so Myself and Jane will be having a beer or 2 on Saturday to reminisce, remember , laugh, and cry about the last 21 years but also to celebrate the next 5 years so feel free to come and join us from 4 pm

As one door shuts another one opens
