🎂 So… the other day I got a little distracted! 😂

As well as doing other baking I decided to make my friend a birthday cake! 🥳🍰

I’ve recently got some new moulds and I’ve been wanting to have a play with them, so I decided to try out the rectangular cake trend that people have been having as wedding cakes — just on a smaller scale and with some different colours. 🎂✨

And you know what… I think it turned out really well! 😍

It was so much fun trying something a little different, and I’m definitely going to be having another play with these moulds!

It’s only taken me about 18 months 😂 but I can finally say…

I honestly can’t believe I’ve finally got there! 🙌

It might not be absolutely perfect just yet, and I’m sure there will be things I’ll change, add and fiddle with along the way 😂 but it’s there… and it’s a start! ❤️

🚜❤️ What a fantastic day yesterday at the Edwards & Farmer Ltd Tractor Run! ❤️🚜

It was brilliant to see so many tractors out and about, and I was lucky enough to get some amazing pictures from the drone too! 📸🚁🚜

It was also an absolute pleasure to support such a great event by donating a £50 Shropshire Hills Bakes voucher to the raffle. 🎟️🍰

I love being able to support local events and the people who put so much time and effort into making them happen. 🥰

Well done to everyone involved — what a brilliant day! 👏🚜❤️

🎉 I’M BACK AT LUDLOW! 🎉

After unfortunately not being able to make it last weekend, I’m back at Ludlow Market today AND tomorrow! 🥰🍰

And there’s an added bonus… the Ludlow Food Festival is on in the castle this weekend! 🎪🍴 So hopefully we’re going to be lovely and busy! 🤞😆

The weather is also on our side ☀️🙌 — the sun is shining, so what better excuse do you need to come for a wander around the market, visit the food festival and, of course, grab yourself some tasty treats! 🍫🍰🧁

I’m pretty sure I’ve baked enough to go around…

🌈✨ What a beautiful start to the morning! ✨🌈

Off delivering the scones to the Bog Visitor Centre this morning and I spotted this absolutely AMAZING double rainbow! 😍🌈

Well… obviously I had to stop and take a picture! 📸🥰

And if you’re a fan of my scones 🫖🍓, then you haven’t got long left to get your fix! 😱

The Bog Visitor Centre will be closing for the winter during the first week of October, so make sure you pop along and grab yourself a scone (or two 😉) before they disappear for the season!

BUT… don’t forget, you can always order directly from me! 🥰❤️ So you don’t have to go completely scone-less over the winter! 😂

I might post this cake a few times… 😂🎂 but honestly, that’s because it’s SO different from my usual semi-naked cakes! 😍

I absolutely LOVED the challenge of creating this one, and I’m even more in love with how it turned out! 🥰✨

The floating top tier, the beautiful flowers, the silver foliage and all those little details… it was such a pleasure to make. 🤍🌸✨

I really hope I get the chance to make more cakes like this because I’d absolutely love to do more! 🙌🎂

Sometimes it’s good to step outside your comfort zone and try something completely different… and this one definitely proved that! ❤️

Well… that’s summer over! ☀️🥹

First of all, I just want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has supported my little Cake Shed over the summer. Every single purchase, share, recommendation and kind message has been very much appreciated. ❤️ It honestly means so much!

Now that summer is officially over, so is the £2 offer… BUT I’ve decided not to put the prices up by much! 😊

From now on, all cakes and traybakes will be just £3 each! 🍫🍰

💷 Cash is preferred, but there is a QR code in the shed for card payment.

📱 Alternatively, if you’d like to pay by bank transfer, just message me and I’ll send you the details.

The shed will continue to be open 7 days a week, so there’s always an excuse to treat yourself! 😋
