Comedy Night returns to The Cats Pyjamas on Wednesday 20th May.

We’re teaming up again with Shrewsbury International Comedy Festival to turn CPJ into a cosy little comedy room for the evening.

On stage:
Dave Twentyman (MC) – warm, quick-witted circuit favourite

Peter Brush (Headliner) – razor-sharp one-liners and brilliantly original delivery

Bethany Black – critically acclaimed comedian and Doctor Who star

Huw Davies – Wales Unsigned Stand-Up Award finalist

Four brilliant comedians.
One intimate room.
Just 50 seats.

Doors 7pm.
Show starts 7.30pm.
Fully seated.

Dang! Now that’s The Cats Pyjamas.

We’re looking for someone to join our front-of-house team in a waiting-on role.

This is a small-hours position to start, with the opportunity to grow over time for the right person.

We’re an independent cafe in the heart of Shrewsbury. Great coffee. Proper brunch. Busy service. Warm atmosphere. High standards.

The role:
- Table service
- Running food + drinks
- Resetting tables quickly between guests
- Supporting the barista + kitchen when needed
- Keeping the space clean, organised and guest-ready

This is a fast-moving service environment. Awareness, reliability and energy matter more than experience.

What you get:
- £10.85–£12.75 per hour + tips
- Daytime shifts
- Supportive small team

Comedy Night is coming to The Cats Pyjamas.
On Wednesday 25th March, we’re teaming up with Shrewsbury International Comedy Festival to turn CPJ into a cosy little comedy room for the evening.
