So… that happened. 🌵👀

A little trip to Mexico without leaving Shrewsbury — five courses, a very full kitchen, and a lot of food that definitely wasn’t poké.

Our Baja to Tulum night was last night and we think George may have got a little carried away in a good way!. 😂

The seasons are changing… so we’re throwing a five-course feast to celebrate everything autumn has to offer. 🍁

Join us for one very special night of completely new dishes, packed with seasonal ingredients, warming flavours, colour and a few Kanu twists along the way. 🌈

The menu? A mystery until you arrive. 👀

Expect five courses designed around the flavours and produce of autumn — but we’re not giving away exactly what’s coming. You’ll just have to trust us. 😏

George had a hard day at work today… eating his way through the new takeaway menu. 😂

Because we’re not just a poké bowl restaurant!

We’ve added a load of new dishes to the takeaway, so there’s now plenty to choose from when you fancy something Kanu but don’t fancy a poké bowl.

And yes, he did have to eat all of these for “research purposes”. 👀

Due to the extreme hot weather conditions, it simply isn’t safe for our kitchen team to operate in these temperatures.☀️☀️☀️

Bad Advice We Were Given Before Opening Our Restaurant – Part 3 💭
Before we opened Kanu Poké, we were given lots of advice. Some of it was really helpful... and some of it just wasn't right for us.🫠

Three and a half years later, we're still proudly 100% vegan, gluten-free & nut-free , making everything from scratch our own way and soooo grateful for everyone who has supported us along the way. 💚 thank you guys 💚

We're so glad we trusted our gut on this one.
Who else has been told “that won’t work”? 🙋‍♀️
