We are very excited to begin our swag evening again. You don't have to be from shrawley, just up for some fun and to learn a new skill. Please book direct with Jade and come and support her new venture and enjoy a nice evening at the pub.

I’m excited to announce our first Olive Woodcraft Evening at The New Inn Shrawley marking the start of SWAG! 🎨

The plan is to create a monthly crafty & social evening - a chance to get creative, meet people and have a good old natter! 🥰

Our first evening will be an introduction to decoupage, where you’ll create two wooden coasters to take home.

🎨 Crafting: £15 per person.

The statistics are heartbreaking:

🍺 161 British pubs closed in the first three months of 2026
🍺 That’s almost TWO pubs every single day
🍺 Closures increased by 26% compared with the same period in 2025
🍺 366 pubs in England and Wales were demolished or converted during 2025

Without proper support, fairer costs and urgent action, even more community pubs will disappear. Something desperately needs to change!
