The Great Robertson Munch Wagon is looking to hire.

Role will be to help Cook and serve on Fridays. Hours at the moment are 3pm to 7pm but plan to increase this by opening 12pm to 2pm making it a total of 6 hours.

We are looking for someone motivated, friendly and a with a ability to have a laugh whilst working.

The Great Robertson Munch Wagon is a new and up coming business. We will be looking to make it grow and increase the days. Then hopefully be traveling throughout Shetland, so they are potential for more hours.

Applicants most be over 18. Some knowledge and confidence cooking would be desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Fine to get her up and running 😊. Thank you very much for everyone who came to support it. Sorry for some of the long waits, feels like we are kinda having to learn everything again but hope you enjoyed the food. Might decide to take on a cook for Friday nights for 5 hours if anyone might be interested, would need to be over 18.

Well here she is, it's been a long run up fae Peterborough England in not the best weather 🌨️🌬️🌫️🌧️🌪️❄️❄️ but I've made it. And the new name................... THE GREAT ROBERTSON MUNCH WAGON 😂

I wid also like to thank Ivan Reid for letting me use one of his cracking photos.

Another thank you is certainly due for Paul and his team at PRO FRY LTD for doing such a cracking job....... Just wait until you see the inside. 😍. I'm just blown away with the quality of work.

Will be closed until end of February, waiting on the new fish and chip van to be ready and the changes to be made with the council, then we are ready to start frying. 🐟🍟

I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year when it comes. Thank you for your support keeping the trailer going this year. Next year I'm hoping to be buying a mobile chippy van, so if you see the trailer being advertised for sale don't worry it will be getting replaced with something new.

Tonight is the last night we will be open this year. Plenty of space so just turn up and will serve you quickly. No taking anymore preorders. Looking forward to it. 😊

Robertson's Takeaway will be opening on Friday the 19th November from 15:00 to 19:15.

Also going to try something new so will be open Saturday 20th from 12:00 to 15:00.

Very sorry everybody, The takeaway will be closed for the next 4 weeks, I'm going back to sea for 4 weeks. Probably this winter it maybe a case the takeaway is only opened part time. They're been a few teething problems getting set up with the takeaway but feel it's running alot smoother now and have to thank all our customers for their patience especially the nights one the fryers packed in. Will see you all again for some delicious fish and chips in a month.
