WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK AT THE MOTORIST?

Another full week ahead, with something a little different joining the usual line-up.

WEDNESDAY 23RD | MID WEEK MOTOR MEET + THE VERY FIRST MOTORIST QUIZ

Mid Week Motor Meet gets us started from 5pm, before The Motorist Quiz powered by DriveLife kicks off at 7pm for the very first time.

Teams of up to six, a mix of automotive and general knowledge, spot prizes throughout the night and £50, £25 and £10 Motorist gift cards up for grabs.

SATURDAY 26TH | MINI VS ABARTH FT. KILLALLCHROME

Two proper pocket rockets go head to head. Expect everything from classics and clean originals to tuned, modified and seriously quick Minis and Abarths, with KillAllChrome joining us for the day.

No theme. No favourites. Just another Sunday filled with whatever decides to roll through the gates.

SUNDAYS DONE RIGHT.

Another Coffee & Cars in the books, and another properly varied mix through the gates.

We were joined by a beautiful line-up from the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Register, alongside everything from the familiar favourites to a few cars that genuinely caught us by surprise.

The weather held out, the Harleys rolled in and the car park kept changing throughout the day. Exactly what we love about Sundays here.

A huge thank you to everyone who made the trip over, whether you came with a club, brought something interesting along or simply fancied a wander around the cars.

A PROPER RALLY WEEKEND AT THE MOTORIST.

After a brilliant Friday night welcoming the Hero Era Rally teams for scrutineering, today we got to do it all over again, only this time with a few more miles on the cars.

The teams headed out this morning for a full day of rallying across West Yorkshire, before making their way back to The Motorist this afternoon to an incredible welcome.

And what a sight it was. Cars rolling back through the gates one after another, plenty of battle scars from the day and a site full of enthusiasts there to see them home.

It’s been a seriously long couple of days for everyone here, but days like today are exactly why we do it.

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us across the weekend, and especially to the crowd who stuck around to welcome the teams back this afternoon. The atmosphere was fantastic.

And of course, a huge thank you to HERO-ERA and every crew who joined us. It was an absolute pleasure having you.

Same again next year Hero Era Rally ....?

WHAT A FRIDAY NIGHT.

The weather absolutely tipped it down, but it certainly didn’t stop us.

HERO-ERA scrutineering brought some incredible rally machinery to site ahead of tomorrow’s action, while the doors to The Motorist Garage were thrown open for a proper look behind the scenes.

A mega atmosphere, plenty of very wet enthusiasts and a brilliant way to kick off Rally Legends weekend.

And we’re only getting started.

Join us tomorrow from 9:30am for Rally Legends, with plenty happening throughout the day before the HERO-ERA teams make their return to The Motorist later in the afternoon.

More rally cars. More stories. Hopefully a little less rain.

THE NEXT BIG DATES AT THE MOTORIST.

We’ve got some seriously good weekends coming up.

First up, Rally Legends lands this weekend, starting on Friday evening as the Hero Era teams arrive for scrutineering before around 100 rally cars head out on Saturday morning.

Then on 26th September, it’s Mini vs Abarth featuring Kill All Chrome, bringing two of the biggest little cars together for one proper showdown.

3rd & 4th October sees CTEK Charge Your Car Weekender take over The Motorist, with a weekend of supercars, displays, demos and plenty more across site.

Then we’re heading off the beaten track for Off-Road & 4x4 featuring Motorcraft Adventure Developments, with the Motorcraft team bringing some seriously impressive overlanders and expedition machinery to the event.

And to top things off, we’re going big for Halloween with German Saturday Social featuring Darkside Developments. German engineering, Darkside machinery and a few surprises lined up for 31st October.

Five big events. Plenty more in between.

Get the dates in the diary. This autumn at The Motorist is looking rather good.

TICKETS ARE NOW ON SALE!

Find them via the What's On page on The Motorist Website or through the link in our bio.

Six rounds. Six Wednesday nights. One overall league.

You can either commit to the full season for £50 per team, covering all six league rounds, or take it one round at a time for £10 per team, per round.

Get your team together, with up to six people per team, and expect a proper mix of automotive trivia, general knowledge and questions designed to get the whole table involved. You definitely don’t need to be a complete petrolhead to have a chance (but it'll certainly help!)

The quiz kicks off at 7pm, but we recommend arriving from 5pm. Grab some food and drinks in the Drivers Lounge, get your team settled and prepare yourselves before the questions begin.

Then, once the league is wrapped up, we’ll be back for a standalone Christmas Special on 16th December.

A SUPER FRIDAY FOR YOU AT THE MOTORIST THIS WEEK.

Ahead of Rally Legends on Saturday, the HERO-ERA rally teams will be on site scrutineering around 100 rally cars before they set off from The Motorist on Saturday morning.

That means a Friday evening packed with some seriously special rally machinery, all being checked over and prepared for the weekend ahead.

And there’s more. The Motorist Garage will be OPEN, giving you the chance to see the workshop, meet the team and have a proper look behind the scenes.

The food will be cooking, the drinks will be flowing and the whole site will be gearing up for a huge weekend.
