The second pub on our "50 Shades of Ale" Green Trail is The Chetnole Inn, Chetnole.

The pub is tucked away in the beautiful Dorset countryside, close to Sherborne. It is the perfect base to discover picturesque Dorset and also very accessible to Taunton, Exeter, Dorchester and many local attractions.
The coast is also only a 30 minute drive from The Chetnole Inn so the fish delivered every day is as fresh as it gets. It has three large, luxurious bedrooms, all of which are en-suite.
The pub has a dog friendly snug bar with wood burning stove, a flag stoned lounge bar, a brightly aired wooden floored restaurant and a beautiful garden.

We have had a few issues at the pub recently with people being very indecisive about what to choose from our menu. We have come up with a plan to rectify this and as of today, we have designed a scratch and sniff menu to make life easier for you all. Simply scratch off the foil next to the menu item and sniff the wonderful aroma of said dish! Try before you buy!

Do you fancy a traditional Sunday Roast at home, but don’t fancy all the hassle that goes with it? Why not pre order a delicious takeaway lunch from us?

I don’t think we’ve told you about our Sunday roasts for a while…not only are they delicious with a choice of Roast Sirloin of beef, Roast Loin of Pork or a 1/4 Roast chicken, they all come with fluffy homemade Yorkshire puddings, crisp roast potatoes, fresh vegetables and proper meat roasted gravy! You can also add a side of really cheesy cauliflower cheese too if you’d like!
Want to go the whole hog? We also have a varied selection of amazing puddings to choose from too.

Sunday Lunches to eat in our lovely cosy pub or to takeaway to have at home…its a tough choice!!
