🧀 CHEESE OF THE MONTH — AUGUST 🧀

This month we’re going French 🇫🇷 with Comté Saint-Antoine!

A classic Alpine cheese made from raw cow’s milk, Comté is famous for its long maturation and wonderfully complex flavour. Expect a firm, slightly crumbly texture with delicious notes of toasted nuts, caramel, butter and a hint of fruitiness.

Perfect on a cheeseboard, paired with a glass of wine, or quite simply… eaten straight from the fridge! 😍

We have a part-time position available for a Wash Up Person at The Pear Tree Deli & Café! 🍽️

The role will involve:
🫧 Washing crockery and cutlery
🧼 Cleaning kitchen equipment and items
✨ Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the wash-up area
👩‍🍳 Assisting the kitchen department when required

Full training will be provided, so experience isn’t essential.

⏰ Hours: WEEKDAYS + occasional weekends

📣 We’re Hiring – TWO PART-TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE! 📣

We’re looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic people to join the team at The Pear Tree Deli & Café.

☕ FRONT OF HOUSE – WEEKENDS

We have a part-time position available for a Front of House team member.

The role includes:
• Serving customers
• Taking payments
• Deli work
• Cleaning up
• General customer care

Barista experience would be an advantage, but full training will be given.

We require hours for weekends and school holiday periods.

👩‍🍳 KITCHEN ASSISTANT – APPROX. 2 DAYS A WEEK

We also have a part-time Kitchen Assistant position available.

The role will involve:
• Preparing salads and sandwiches
• Assisting the head chef
• Wash-up duties
• Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy

The position will be approximately 2 days a week, including some weekend work, as well as sickness and holiday cover.

Full training will be given.

📅 The kitchen position commences in September and is for beyond academic holidays.
