Part of the building is C16 and it became a parish workhouse in 1749. It became the 'Tap House' for the Digby Hotel in 1869 and remained so until the Hotel was sold to The Boys School in 1964. Fortunately, the Pub survived and very little has changed since then.

Next door...Sherborne Town FC 1s host Laverstock and Ford FC 1s whilst the Reserves travel to Cobham Sports FC 1s, both 3.00pm starts.
