In collaboration with Calligrapher & Artist , we’ve got a fun Halloween craft workshop coming up for our young creatives 🎃👩‍🎨

Each child will take part in an artist lead workshop where they will be able to let their imagination go wild as they paint, decorate & bedazzle a ceramic sugar skull to take home and reuse every year. Of course, there will be spooky snacks too!

35.00 for one child and one adult - this includes:
• artist lead Halloween craft workshop with all matierals and embellishment included
• your own hand decorated small ceramic sugar skull to take home
• spooky snacks and bakes for your young artist
• hot or cold drink for parent/guardian

Lovelies, swipe to see what’s going on for Local Maker’s Community Festival on Saturday 19th September 👀

I am SOOOO excited to showcase some of the amazing local makers and businesses we have in the local area, so swipe for a little taster of the different things that we’ll have available 😍

All stalls are indoors too…no matter the weather you can come and have a little browse…we are definitely hoping for some sunshine though ☀️

We’ll have a lovely selection of homemade bakes including savoury and sweet options along side all of our takeaway drinks…

Lovelies, stop scrolling…we’ve got exciting news! It’s time for our autumn specials 🍂🧡

This theme might be the best one yet because we’re celebrating all our favourite biscuits! We’re been taste testing them and perfecting the recipes for the last couple of weeks and they are all deliciously indulgent 😍

My personal favourite is the Custard Cream Iced Latte…delicious and velvety made with real vanilla custard and, of course, topped with a custard cream bicky too 😋

I just know the Jammie Dodger Matcha is going to be a big hit and I also think the Chocolate Chip Cookie Frappe is going to be super popular 🍪 Maybe at the end of October, I’ll do a post letting you all know the favourites 🤔

Our new specials are available now until the end of October when we’ll switch to our Christmas specials 👀🎄

A few snaps from our jam packed summer as we say goodbye to August and we welcome September ✨

It’s been a busy summer and it has been so lovely to see so many of you from our summer regulars to loads of new faces too. It’s just the loveliest feeling seeing and hearing how much you enjoy our lovely Rose’s 🌹



Well, the biggest change of the summer is that takeaway orders have increased massively…which is FAB! 🙌

I’m thinking it may have the hot hot hot weather and longer all enjoying summer picnics or lunching at friends houses with the kids. But, I do hope it continues ✨

We’ve had a super duper popular specials menu…I think it’s been by the far the most popular one yet! It was such a varied selection of fruity blends this time that I think we had one that almost everyone would be able to enjoy 😍

Plus the Cheese Scone Platter has been crazy popular so it’s gotta make a comeback soon for sure!!!

Delicious cakes and bakes as always but we’ve also diversified the selection with delicious chunky sausage rolls and locally baker cinnamon buns sometimes too 👏

Both have been such a big hit….they’ll hopefully continue to make an appearance! Let us know if you have anything you’d LOVE to see on the counter 👀

A personal highlight for the cafe…WE GOT NEW CHAIRS 😍

And, boy, have you guys loved them! Loads of comments about how lovely they are and they so much more comfortable than the wooden ones too! Such a huge improvement 🥹

I also managed to have a little summer holiday and I definitely needed this break for sure! It was beautiful (as you can see!!) and I just loved being able to go to the place I feel calmest…by the sea 🌊

Thank you for being so lovely and remembering us when we were back…you guys showed up when we reopened after the week off, just thank you 🥹♥️

We also hosted some beautiful events including this lovely baby shower! Always love to host private events and it’s an exciting time as we’ve got a few months coming up too 🎉

And, yes, I absolutely loved the day it rained 😂 I love the sunshine and the light mornings and the warm evenings…but I’m not a fan of the hea

One of my absolutely favourite things about owning a cafe is being able to create the specials menu…and this year they have been a bigger part of Rose’s than ever before 🥹

I love every part from thinking of ideas, finding inspiration, taste testing recipes, making content for socials and creating the menus. It’s a long process to create a menu that has 6-8 drinks specials as well as a savoury one and a sweet one too, but it’s definitely one of my favourite things 😍

And I think it’s such a important aspect of the cafe for all you lovelies too! The specials menu creates great conversation, allows you to try something different and, most importantly, it always gives our lovely regulars something fresh and exciting to enjoy ✨

New specials launch in just one week…exciting!!! So, make sure you come and grab a Peachy Sunset or Tropical Refresher this week before they change 🍑🍊
