Private events venue for all occasions Our menu is designed to cater for all; whether you fancy breakfast or lunch, whether you're vegetarian or vegan, we have a variety of delicious dishes for you to try. Everything is freshly

prepared to order using locally sourced produce and ingredients wherever possible - keeping our food mileage low and supporting our local business neighbours too. We use a local butcher, a local bakers, a local cake maker, a local coffee roaster & more. We offer a range of gluten conscious and vegan options with a selection of dairy free milk alternatives, including soya, almond, oat, cashew & coconut. Our gluten free and vegan cakes are super popular - in fact they have become firm favourites and staples of our 'cake station' menu. All of our cakes are homemade with a delightful selection of different flavours; from the classic victoria sponge to the popular rhubarb & custard, we have plenty for you to choose from. Seeing customers waiting for us to open, hearing how much you loved your food, laughing away as we work, or having a customer simply ask how we are…

They might seem like small things, but they make such a huge difference…
Because after all these years, I think that’s what I love most about owning a café - the connections, the people, the familiar faces and the little moments that make me smile 😊

Rested and relaxed but, if I’m honest, could definitely do with another week… 🤭 Yet it’s still so lovely coming home feeling refreshed and actually looking forward to getting back to it 😍

When we first opened, I had a wish list of things that I wanted to add, change or renovate - yes, the list has grown longer over the past 9 years, but lots of things have been ticked off too! And today we ticked off one more….NEW CHAIRS 😍

A big investment, but totally worth it. Brand new matching chairs that are more comfortable and more practical! They have really changed the look of our space…an improvement for sure I think!

Now, I’m someone who hates change, so give me a week before you ask me if I love them…I do love them, but it’s a big change from the mismatch wooden we’ve had, so I need a few days to adjust 🫣😂

And a big thanks to all you lovelies - the only reason I can keep investing back into this business is because you guys show us such a immense amount of support…so thank you 🥹🫶

Next week we’ll be closing for a little summer break 💛

Myself and the team are going to enjoy a little break to rest, recharge and come back refreshed and ready to go for the busy few months in the lead up to…dare I say it…Christmas 👀

The middle week of the summer holidays has always actually been the quietest week of the year, so it’s the perfect opportunity to take a little break. Plus, it gives our team time to spend time with our own children/grandchildren/nieces/nephews etc who are off school too 🫶

📆 We’ll be closed from Tuesday 11th August to Saturday 15th August and reopening on Tuesday 18th August as usual

The good news: you still have the rest of this week to come & see us ✨

A brilliant new event that’s tied in with the Shefford Community Festival to champion and celebrate some of the brilliant local maker’s and businesses in the area 👏

We’ve also got character meet & greets from our lovely neighbours 𝓑𝓮 𝓞𝓾𝓻 𝓖𝓾𝓮𝓼𝓽 𝓟𝓪𝓵𝓪𝓬𝓮 𝓑𝓮 𝓞𝓾𝓻 𝓖𝓾𝓮𝓼𝓽 𝓟𝓻𝓲𝓷𝓬𝓮𝓼𝓼𝓮𝓼 - all completely free for the little ones 👑

I’ll be releasing some information on the amazing stall holders over the next few weeks, but we’ve got a great selection of handmade gifts, skincare, pet accessories, handmade jewellery & more 😍
