🚨 IT’S FINALLY HAPPENED… KEEL’S CAFF MERCH IS LIVE! 🚨

After months of ideas, designs, tweaking, laughing, changing our minds, changing them back again and creating things that are unmistakably Keel’s… our merch is finally ready to go. ❤️

We’ve teamed up with the brilliant people at Pineapple Joes, a UK-based printing company, to bring our designs to life properly.

And now you can head over and check out our current ranges and collections. 👕

Some are classic Keel’s.
Some are meaningful.
Some are ridiculous.
Some are VERY ridiculous.

Basically… exactly as they should be. 😂

Buying a Keel’s tee isn’t just about looking bloody magnificent, although obviously that is a significant benefit.

Every purchase is another way of supporting Keel’s Caff & Community Hub and helping us continue creating a place where people can eat, meet, play, laugh, talk, belong and know that somebody gives a damn.

🌴 KEEL’S CAFF HOLIDAY UPDATE 🌴

We’re still open as usual for the rest of this week, so come and see us while you can!

In the wee hours of Sunday morning, I’ll be heading off with some mates to the Isle of Ibiza, the island that never sleeps. Although, at 46, I’ll probably manage to prove it wrong. 😂

Keel’s Caff will be closed next week from Monday 14th to Thursday 17th September.

We’ll be back OPEN on Friday 18th September, hopefully refreshed, slightly more tanned and ready to serve up all your Keel’s favourites!

When life gives you lemons... 🍋

Last week, we picked up a whole load of lemons completely free of charge from the lovely folk at Silkstone Arms, Sheffield

So what were we going to do with them?

Make lemonade?

Nah.

We made lemon curd, of course. 😏

The original plan was simple: get some proper homemade Keel’s Curd going, slap it on toast here at Keel’s Caff, and maybe even sell a jar or two.

Then, seemingly, a divine light shone down upon me... ✨

An idea descended from above.

Chocolate fudge brownie.

Keel’s lemon curd.

Together.

And thus, something magnificent was born.

Rich, gooey, chocolatey fudge brownie with that sharp, sweet hit of homemade lemon curd running through it.

These genuinely have to be tried to be believed, and I can almost guarantee you’ll be back for another.

🥔🎲 A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO BIG POTATO GAMES! 🎲🥔

A rather brilliant box landed at Keel’s Caff today, absolutely packed with games kindly donated by the lovely people at Big Potato. ❤️

Not only have they sent us loads of different games to add to our community collection, but we’ve also got multiple copies of some titles, which means we can get even bigger groups playing, run games side-by-side and generally create even more glorious tabletop chaos! 😁

It genuinely means a lot when a company like Big Potato gets behind what we’re trying to build here at Keel’s Caff and Community Hub, a place where people can come together, play, eat, talk, laugh and feel like they belong.

So from all of us here: THANK YOU, BIG POTATO. You absolute legends. 🥔❤️

Two trays of our fresh chocolate fudge brownies have just come out of the oven ready for Games Night tonight… and they are looking dangerously good. 🤤

A little update to our post from last week…

Keel’s Caff will now be OPEN as normal Tuesday to Friday! 🙌

We’re still running our Family Play & Connect HAF provision from 11am–3pm, but we’ve worked things around so that HAF can take place over on the Hub side of our space, while the Caff stays open alongside it.

So whether you’re joining us for HAF or just fancy popping in for a cuppa, some food, a chat or your usual Keel’s fix come on in! ❤️

What an adventure the last nine months have been.

Today, this little community of ours hit 1,000 followers on Facebook and we just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU. ❤️

Because Keel’s Caff has never just been about food and coffee.

It’s about people.

It’s the regulars who walk through our door week after week.
The people who bring their friends in and say, “You need to see this place.”
The people who share our posts, tag their mates and tell others about us.
The people who pop in for a cuppa and end up staying for hours.
The people who support our events, play our games, eat our food and help spread the word.

A community.
