After our drivers Chris & Sally surprised mum with some flowers for her birthday the other week, we have decided to continue the tradition and put new flowers in every week. In a time where the world is in absolute chaos, it doesn’t hurt to spread love which should come easily. This weeks flowers are Chrysanthemum, sweet irony that they’re nicknamed ‘mums’ and are flowers with a multi purpose & represent life and death within itself. What should we go for next week?

Front of House Staff Wanted – Hillsborough (Family-Run Takeaway)

We are looking for a reliable and confident individual to join our team at a growing family-run takeaway.

This is not just a basic front of house role. We are looking for someone who can take responsibility, work well under pressure, and be part of building something long term.

Hours:
Fridays & Saturdays (5pm–11pm)
Additional hours available as the business grows

Responsibilities:
• Serving customers and handling orders
• Keeping front of house organised and running smoothly during busy periods
• Managing delivery orders and coordinating with the driver
• Maintaining clear and effective communication with the team
• Assisting with basic food preparation when required

Requirements:
• Previous experience in a takeaway, restaurant, or similar environment is essential
• Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with customers
• Able to stay composed and efficient during busy periods
• Reliable, consistent, and takes pride in their work

We are looking for someone we can trust and develop. For the right person, this role has the potential to grow into a management position over time.
