Today we’re celebrating those who work tirelessly, day in and day out, to keep quality fresh produce on our tables.

At Dole Foodservice, our procuremnt team strive to buy from British Farmers where possible, not only because of the incredible fruits and vegetables that we are able to supply our customers with, but to do our part to keep British agriculture thriving. 🚜

Important Market Update ⚠❗

Tomato production in the UK and Netherlands has been
badly impacted by very hot weather during August.
This has caused plants to become distressed, and this, combined with reduced pollination has resulted in a severe shortage across
all Tomato lines as well as significantly increased prices.

Unfortunatley we expect this situation to continue for at least 3 weeks.
Our procurement teams are working hard with suppliers to
secure enough product for all our customers.

That’s 20 bitterly cold warehouse winters, gorgeously warm summer days, and every grey day in between — meticulously carrying out quality control procedures, overseeing the warehouse team, and selecting the very best produce to pack and send out with your orders!
