WE’RE HIRING! ☕️🥐
Our lovely Nat, who’s been with us for just over three years, has been snapped up by bigger and better things - sooner than expected - not that we’re surprised 🤓! We are all gutted that she’s going, she’s been a fantastic member of the team, however we’re all super proud of her achievements! 🫶🏻🩷
And so..
We’re looking for a Temporary Team Member, with the possibility of continuing with us after Christmas.
📅 3–4 days* per week, approx 12-20 hours
⏰ Tuesday–Saturday, early starts with a latest finish time of approx 2:30pm
✨ Flexibility is essential, must be available midweek and in school holidays
*days are early starts and early finishes - 4-6.5 hours usually
We’re looking for someone who:
☕️ Is barista trained and/or has a passion for coffee
😊 Has a high level of customer service and genuinely enjoys working with people
🥐 Has a passion for food, drink and baking
⚡️ Is a fast worker who can stay calm and work efficiently under pressure
🧠 Can prioritise tasks and use their initiative when things get busy
🙌 Is reliable, friendly and a great team player - we all do a bit of everything - and it’s not all glamorous!!
Your role will include:
• Making coffee
• Serving food
• Preparing food
• Baking our homemade bakes
• Serving customers & working the till
• Washing pots & cleaning
• Keeping on top of stock control and the day-to-day jobs that keep the café running smoothly
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with a great attitude, good communication skills and a genuine passion for hospitality. They must also be willing to work alongside a mother/daughter/father team who regularly bicker, a sense of humour helps 😂
