UPDATE… WE ARE OPEN FROM 8.30 as usual… I’m coffee ready

Sorry I’ve been a bit quiet this week, the girls had to send me home for a few hours today as I’ve been a bit poorly, and they couldn’t cope with my ugly crying face, I’m on some really evil antibiotics and they have knocked me for 6….. I’m hoping to be feeling a little more human tomorrow but I’ll confirm in the morning as if I’m not any better I’ll have to shut for the day, which I really don’t want to have to do. The joys of working and running and being part of the team as a self employed person is not great when ill, and as good as Maddie is she can’t do it on her own… so fingers crossed 🤞 we’ll be opening as usual but I’m sure you’ll forgive me if we can’t. Sully is looking after me

Bit of a shock to the system this morning with the lack of sunshine… but we are bringing that feeling back with our take out cream teas this week, I feel like our homemade scones need a little shout out all for themselves… box for 1 or 2 available (when they come out of the oven)

Well well well… I’m a bit daft… and forget to add in the cakes sales from last week… and I had a lovely donation last night so very excited to say I’m £8.90 off an amazing £600!!!! for Weston Park Cancer Charity

I’m sure I can sell a crochet plant pot cover or maybe a couple of cards to get us over that target.

We did amazing with our Weston park fundraiser but I haven’t quite reached my £500 wanted target, its personal to me right now 3 friends are currently under the care of Weston Park and for those that also new crazy Sarah that used to frequent the shop a lot they looked after her too, I really want to help raise as much as possible, so if you didn’t get chance to pop in or want to still donate here is the link below in the comments
