Well we are in for a bit of a scorcher today… I’m loving this years summer… maybe not great for business some days but hey ho… we’ve got loads of stuff available… salads and quiche as always, paninis toasties, sandwiches, think we’ll do the feta and beetroot special salad today, seen as it’s weather like Greece 😂 and in the cake counter we’ve loads… including everyone’s favourite (well it’s a love or hate one) Karen’s battenburg, plus brownies, cookie pie, cookies, flapjacks including a crumble jack with mixed berry’s, coconut, carrot cake, caramel loaf, honey loaf, pistachio and white chocolate loaf, lemon drizzle, Victoria sponge (it’s a whopper) and of course sprinkle cake… and scotch eggs (there’s more but this post will get too long 😂) PLUS OF COURSE COFFEE, iced coffees, matcha, ube, iced coolers and Yorkshire tea
(I’ve put coffee in bold as weirdly we heard someone yesterday and it’s becoming and annoying thing of people not thinking we do coffee… which absolutely blows my mind.. it’s been my staple for nearly 14 years 😂)
Everything can be had in or as takeout and we have 4 seats and a couple of tables outside round the back I’m not the prettiest of gardens but you might hear the grasshoppers or even see Bertha 🐸, though she seems to have gone into hiding so don’t hold me to that)
So we are open from 8.30am until it gets too hot and everyone is at home in the paddling pools!)
