Seven Course Cheese Themed Afternoon Tea
Friday 25th, Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September
£30 per person

On arrival - a duo of cream cheese - roasted garlic and tomato, stilton and walnuts served with melba toast.

To start - Caramelised onion and cheese soup with homemade cheese and chive sourdough rolls

To follow - A platter of Goats cheese and Mediterranean roasted vegetables quiche, Rarebit sausage rolls, Ham and cheddar arancini balls served with a tomato chutney.

To follow- open sandwiches of- mozzarella, cherry tomato and pesto, Brie with ham on a bed of dressed rocket salad, Stilton, and poached pear, cheddar savoury mayonnaise.

To follow - cheese scones served with whipped butter and red onion relish.

To follow - Lemon and ginger cheese cake

To finish- Carrot cake

All served with unlimited tea and americano coffees and our homemade cordial.

📣 WE’RE HIRING – PART-TIME FRONT OF HOUSE ☕🍰

We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic person to join our team at The Cosy Tearoom at Dore Moor Garden Centre.

Around 10 hours per week over 2 days, with the possibility of extra hours when available.

The role will include:
• Taking customer orders
• Serving customers and providing a high standard of customer service
• Making hot and cold drinks – barista experience would be beneficial
• Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables
• Helping to keep the front of house clean, tidy and welcoming

Applicants must be available to work both midweek and weekends, so this role would suit someone with good flexibility.

💷 Pay is above minimum wage and will depend on experience. The role also includes a share of tips.

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, confident with customers and happy working as part of a busy team.

Guests will be greeted with refreshing summer drinks before indulging in a tempting selection of sausage rolls, fresh salads, and sandwiches.
Live Jazz Performance by Miss Trixie Holiday
At 4:15 PM, let the melodies of Miss Trixie Holiday set a pleasant atmosphere as she takes the stage for a 45-minute performance.
Interval Refreshments
During a brief intermission, enjoy a selection of delightful scones, an array of cakes, homemade chocolate truffles, and a refreshing elderflower cordial made from local wild elderflowers.
Second Set
Trixie will return to for her second set, serenading until 6:00 PM.

🥄 Part-Time Pot Washer Wanted 🥄

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking pot washer to join our friendly team at The Cosy Tearoom.

📍 Dore Moor Garden Centre, Sheffield

Hours:
• 2–3 days per week
• Typically 12pm–3pm
• Additional hours may be available during busy periods

Pay:
• Above National Minimum Wage
• Plus a share of staff tips

This role would suit someone looking for summer work, a student wanting part-time hours, or anyone looking to earn a little extra income in a friendly environment.

Please note that we are a busy tearoom, particularly at lunchtime, so you’ll need to be able to work at a fast pace, stay organised, and keep on top of the washing up during our busiest periods.

No experience necessary – just a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and willingness to get stuck in!
