A little update from the nest! 🪺
Hospitality is a funny old world at the moment and, like lots of independent businesses, we’re adapting, riding the waves and figuring out what works best for us and our lovely team.
If you’ve followed me navigating my small businesses for a while, you’ll know I’m pretty open about sharing the highs, the lows and mostly trying to lol my way through all of it. But sometimes I have to put my serious and sensible pants on and make a plan.
So, for a little while, we’re going to be closed on Mondays & Tuesdays and open Wednesday to Sunday.
It gives us a couple of days each week to reset, prep, look after our team and put all our energy into making the five days we are open as brilliant as they possibly can be.
We know some of you love a Monday coffee or might have been planning a Tuesday visit, and we’re really sorry if this changes your plans. Please come and see us another day instead, we’d genuinely love to have you, and right now it means more than ever.
We promise to make it worth it. The pancakes will be fluffier than ever, the chai lattes will be the best you’ve tasted and our autumn drinks are very nearly ready to blow your knitted socks off 🍂☕️
We’re incredibly grateful that we get to keep doing our thing. It hurts my heart every time I see another small business I love having to close its doors, because I know just how much goes into keeping them open.
Every coffee, tea, brunch, slice of cake, takeaway and mention to a friend makes more of a difference to a small independent business than you probably realise.
So we’re here, we’re adapting, and we’re giving it everything we’ve got. And we’d really, really love to see you.
Come hungry, bring your favourite people and keep us nice and busy Wednesday to Sunday (please 😘)
