A warm welcome awaits as well as real ales and much more including ample outside tables and covered heated spaces. Nestled in the S6 corner of the Steel City.

Located just a short journey from the city and train links. Built-in 1846 the building was originally a grocery shop where locals sold bottled beer that could be refilled. In 1977, it became the Firwood Cottage where it was modernized as a Tetley house. Closing in 2016, followed an 18 months restoration project. Re-born as the Blind Monkey in May 2018, several original features have been retained,

including the Victorian façade and the fireplace in the bar. The wood panelling, cooper and glass finishes, elegant light fittings give a nod to the late 1900s. Beer Garden & Terrace that is covered

It's a double whammy today!

Firstly who's excited for our new quiz!? Back to the classic pen and pencil quiz, Dr. Pomtastic will be leading our new quiz with plenty of new rounds, plenty of new points and plenty of ways to lose them. And there will be a cash prize available on our brand new spinner!! 🎡

Secondly it's finally September and we're so keen to see everyone for this year's Sheffield Half Pint Marathon marathon! We're already pouring Kudos from Triple Point Brewing - a low percentage yuzu lime radler that will certainly keep you refreshed on your treks across Sheffield 🏃

THE QUIZ IS BACK!!!! Next Tuesday at 8pm quiz night returns but with a new look!

Our host, Pom, will be taking it back to pen and paper! With lots of unique and exciting rounds, everyone’s in with a chance of taking home the cash prize! There are also some additional prizes to be won along the way!

Get your teams ready for our first quiz back! Remember, maximum 6 people on a team and £1 cash per person entry fee!

This week's dog of the week is the cute and tiny Frank! His toy balancing skills really wowed us this week. Such a tiny guy with such massive skills!

This week's dog(s) of the week are Carl (large) and Frank (small). Despite being only 9 months old, Carl has very much outgrown his older brother Frank (who's 10!). Otherwise these two would be able to pass off as twins!

Our newest keg has been selling super fast! AAAGGGHHH! from Triple Point Brewing is a 5.2% hazy New England IPA that makes us want to yell out loud over all those super dry hoppy notes. With tropical and stone fruit notes, it's everything cold and fizzy you'd want on this hot week. What's not to shout about?

Also don't forget that our quiz is not running this week while we take a break over August! We'll update you all soon on what's coming next! 🕵️

This week's dog of the week is the MASSIVE and incredibly friendly Obi! With paws bigger than our hands and a talent for being accidentally in the way all of the time, he barreled us over with his gentle giant nature.
