It’s nearly time for some spooky fun at Ye Olde Mustard Pot! 🕷️🦇

Tickets for our Children’s Halloween Party are now available for just £5 per child and can be purchased from behind the bar. 🎟️

We’ve got an afternoon full of Halloween fun planned, including dancing, treats, a buffet and prizes for the best fancy dress! 🧙‍♀️🧛‍♂️🎃

⚠️ Tickets are required – no ticket, no entry ⚠️
This helps us make sure we cater for everyone attending.

We did warn you we were going BIG on Christmas this year… 😂❤️ and here’s another very special date for your diaries!

After the fun of last year, Santa has agreed to make another very special trip to the Mustard Pot! 🎅🏼❤️

Join us for a magical Christmas morning filled with:

🎄 Christmas crafts & activities
🥞 A special festive breakfast
🎅🏼 A visit from Santa himself
🎁 A gift for every child
✨ Lots of festive fun and Christmas magic!

⏰ IMPORTANT – EVERYONE ARRIVES AT 9AM

This isn't a drop-in breakfast with different arrival times. Everyone will arrive for 9am, as the crafts and activities will be taking place throughout breakfast and we've planned the whole morning as one festive experience.

The children can get stuck into their Christmas crafts, enjoy their breakfast and soak up the excitement before a certain special visitor makes his appearance… 🎅🏼👀

🍳 AND WE'VE LISTENED TO YOUR FEEDBACK!

Last year's Breakfast with Santa was absolutely fantastic... but we'll admit, breakfast time got a little hectic! 😂

So this year we're changing things up.

After listening to your feedback, all breakfasts will be PRE-ORDERED before the event. 🙌🏼

This means our kitchen will know exactly what everyone is having before you arrive, helping us get breakfasts out more smoothly and efficiently, leaving everyone more time to enjoy the crafts, festivities and, most importantly, the Christmas magic with the children. ❤️

We loved having so many of you join us last year, and we want to make this year's event even better, so we've taken what we learnt and made a few changes to help the morning run as smoothly as possible. 🎄✨

🎁 And of course… Santa won't be arriving empty-handed! Every child will receive a little Christmas gift.

🎄✨ CHRISTMAS DAY AT YE OLDE MUSTARD POT ✨🎄

After lots of planning, we’re very excited to finally share our Christmas Day Lunch menus for 2026! ❤️🎅🏼 Please note all options are GF available 😊

This year we’ll be opening our doors on Christmas Day for a very limited number of guests to join us for a gorgeous, traditional Christmas lunch at the Mustard Pot. 🥂🎄

We’ve created a special multi-course Adult Christmas Day Menu, along with a Children’s Christmas Menu so our younger guests can enjoy their own proper Christmas dining experience too. 🎁

However, Christmas Day is going to work a little differently for us…

❤️ We’re only doing ONE SITTING. ❤️

We’re a family-run pub and, as much as we absolutely love welcoming you all through our doors, we have a young family who we want to enjoy some Christmas Day magic with too. 🎅🏼❤️

So rather than running sittings throughout the afternoon and evening, we’re keeping Christmas Day small, relaxed and special.

Our arrival/seating times will be:

🎄 12:00pm
🎄 12:15pm
🎄 12:30pm
🎄 12:45pm

Once those tables are gone, they really are gone — we won’t be adding a second sitting later in the day.

This means our kitchen can give every table the attention it deserves, nobody feels rushed through their Christmas dinner, and once our final guests have enjoyed their day with us, our team can head home and enjoy what’s left of Christmas Day with their own families too. ❤️

We hope everyone understands why we’ve chosen to do it this way. We want Christmas Day at the Mustard Pot to feel warm, relaxed and personal, rather than trying to squeeze as many sittings as possible into the day.

So get the date in your diaries because on Saturday 5th December from 12 noon, we’ll be bringing a little bit of Christmas magic to Ye Olde Mustard Pot with our very own…

And even better… it’s all INSIDE, so whatever the December weather decides to throw at us, you can stay cosy and enjoy the festivities! 🥰🔥

We’re planning a gorgeous festive afternoon filled with:

✨ And plenty of festive cheer!

Come along with the family, browse the stalls, pick up some unique Christmas presents, enjoy something from the BBQ and settle in with a mulled wine, mulled cider or hot chocolate while enjoying the live music. 🎶🎄🍷

🎁 CALLING ALL STALLHOLDERS! 🎁

We’d LOVE to hear from local makers, crafters and small businesses who would like to join us and have a stall at our Christmas Fayre.

Whether you sell handmade gifts, Christmas decorations, candles, jewellery, sweet treats, crafts or something completely different, please get in touch if you'd like to be involved! ❤️

A little note for our stallholders: we’ll only be accepting one stallholder from each type of business/product wherever possible.

We want everyone who joins us to have the best possible day, so rather than having several stalls selling the same or very similar products and competing against each other, we’d like to offer our visitors a lovely variety of stalls while giving each small business the best opportunity to do well. ❤️

Because of this, stall spaces will be offered on a first-come basis within each category, so please don't be disappointed if we already have someone offering something similar to you. It certainly isn't personal — we're simply trying to make the fayre as worthwhile as possible for every small business taking part. 🎁✨

We really want the day to showcase some fantastic local businesses and encourage everyone to SHOP LOCAL this Christmas! 🛍️❤️

👻 HALLOWEEN IS COMING TO YE OLDE MUSTARD POT! 👻🎃

Okay, okay… we KNOW it’s only September 😂 but we’re far too excited to keep this one quiet any longer!

If you thought our Halloween decorations were good before… just wait until you see what we’ve got planned this year! 😈🎃

We’ve been adding to our already amazing collection of Halloween decorations AND we’ve even bought new decks, so we’re ready to turn Ye Olde Mustard Pot into one seriously spooky party venue! 🎶🕷️👻

This 31st October, Halloween is taking over the Mustard Pot for the WHOLE DAY, with something for the little monsters in the afternoon and the grown-up ghouls once darkness falls… 🌙🧛‍♀️

🎃 CHILDREN’S HALLOWEEN PARTY | 2PM–5PM 🎃 £5 per child

Get those costumes ready! We’ll have dancing, Halloween fun, treats for every child and prizes for the best dressed! 🏆👻

We were Stop No. 7 on their travels, and it was brilliant to have them call in and experience our little pub here in Midhopestones. 🥰
