Starting May 19th we’ll be introducing a few burgers alongside our new fried chicken tenders. All made in house and fried fresh.

1) House made fish patty, lettuce, pickles, cheese & house made tartare sauce

2) Chicken thigh, lettuce, pickles, cheese & house made mayo

3) Chicken thigh, slaw, pickles, cheese & house made buffalo sauce

4) Chicken tenders made with our house spice blend.

Our homemade rissoles (fishcakes) are packed full of fish and flavour. A great way to get fish in your diet without breaking the bank, especially in our £5 value meal!

Haddock, fresh from the docks of Grimsby every day. Full of vitamins B6 & B12 and a great source of Omega-3. It’s also bloody delicious!

The Yorkshire Fishcake, a fish and chip staple. Two slices of potato with fresh seasoned fish in the middle.

Just like our chips, we cook these low and slow to lock in all their moisture and flavour then finish them off at high temperature to make them nice and crispy.

For £2.80 it’s a meal in itself but with a side of peas it’s a perfect lunch.

How do we make the perfect chip?

We work with our local supplier to find the best potatoes. These need to be waxy, floury and have around a 20% starch content.

Next we fry them gently at 140 degrees until cooked through, making sure they don’t crisp or brown so they retain their creamy and fluffy texture.

Finally we fry them for a second time at 180 which allows the sugar in the starch to caramelise giving them their brown edge, fantastic taste and a crispy exterior.
