🎨 Pop-up art exhibition at Brook Coffee Rooms – Today!

We’re delighted to welcome local artist Jackie Benson, whose vibrant abstract work celebrates colour and the unexpected beauty of acrylic inks, watercolours and acrylic paint. Jackie draws inspiration from the ever-changing landscapes of the Peak District and her travels around the world.

Join us today
from 9am to 4.30pm, to view Jackie’s work and support a cause very close to her heart.

Jackie will donate 50% of the proceeds from every card and signed, limited-edition giclée print sold to Weston Park Cancer Charity’s Scanner Appeal.

Come along, enjoy some wonderful local art and help support an incredibly important cause. We look forward to seeing you!

Good morning Fulwood! ☀️ 🥐 ☕️ 🍰

We’re open today but our kitchen is CLOSED due to the heatwave. ⚠️

We hope you’ll understand that our priority is to look after our team and it’s simply too hot to work in our small kitchen when we have temperatures like this week. 🥵

We have all the usual amazing cakes, bakes and pastries as well as wonderful smithstreetcoffee for all your iced drink needs!

We’re excited to be welcoming new team members to join us at BROOK.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working hands-on with food in a busy kitchen environment, takes pride in preparing great dishes, and wants to be part of a friendly, supportive team at the heart of our local community.

🍳 About the role
• Food preparation and kitchen service will be a core part of your role
• Supporting the smooth running of the kitchen during busy services
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and organisation
• Some front-of-house support may be required during quieter periods

🗓 Availability
• Weekend availability is essential
• Shifts available mid-week and weekends

👩‍🍳 Experience
• Kitchen or food prep experience is preferred, but not essential
• Full training will be provided
• A positive attitude, reliability, and care for good food are a must
