Apple, pumpkin, vanilla, brown sugar and caramelised pecans. A big dessert sour, basically pumpkin pie in a can.

Sharp, zesty lemon and lime, proper tart gose. The can even glows in the dark if you charge it under a light first.

Jammy blueberry, creamy vanilla and warming cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. Basically a PSL with a sour twist, and the strongest of the three.

🎃 ALL THINGS NICE IS NOW POURING ON KEG

Vault City’s autumn dessert sour has landed on keg, and it’s a proper seasonal treat.

All Things Nice is an evolution of their 2024 b**r Sugar ‘n’ Spice, built around apple, pumpkin and vanilla with rich brown sugar, a maple drizzle and caramelised pecans on top. Basically pumpkin pie in a glass.

TWO NEW ONES FROM TRIPLE POINT, BOTH WITH A STORY

have landed a couple of new ones, and this time the can art is as interesting as what’s in the tin.

Fisherking is the standout, a pale ale celebrating the return of kingfishers to Sheffield’s rivers as water quality has improved over the years. The can itself came out of a “Hidden Sheffield” brief Triple Point set illustration students at Sheffield Hallam, who put in over 80 submissions before a public vote landed on Anna Moore’s design. Hop-wise it’s Admiral, Amarillo, Azacca, Chinook, First Gold and Goldings, giving bright orange, grapefruit and marmalade flavours.

Then there’s Brass, a hoppy amber ale built for the autumnal months. Malt-forward with Admiral, Centennial and Cryo Pop hops bringing citrus and marmalade notes on top.

OK FINE, WE’RE DOING IT AGAIN 🎄

It’s the 7th of October. There are still pumpkins in the window. And yet, here we are, already unwrapping Brew York’s Christmas range.

Look, we don’t make the rules. Three limited edition Christmas b**rs have landed and we’re simply not capable of sitting on them until November.

🎃 THREE FROM ABBEYDALE, INCLUDING A GENUINE COMEBACK

Abbeydale Brewery have landed three new ones, all part of their 30 Years celebrations, and one of them is a proper blast from the past.

Pilgrim is the original pumpkin spiced ale, brewed using a secret recipe from World B**r Cup winning brewer Dan Rogers, and has been a Halloween fixture for Abbeydale since 2017. This year it’s joined by Marshmallow Pilgrim, the same warming pumpkin pie spice but built into a stout, with roasted malts, sweet vanilla and marshmallow added for a proper campfire feel.

Then there’s Brimstone, an American Brown Ale that’s been missing since around 2016 and is now back as part of Abbeydale’s Legacy Series, bringing back old favourites to mark 30 years of brewing.

THREE NEW ONES IN THE VAULT CITY CAN CLUB

Vault City Brewing have dropped three new ones this week, all built around collaborations.

Jaisoor takes Jaipur, one of the UK’s most iconic IPAs, and gives it the full Vault City sour treatment with Thornbridge, mixing classic West Coast hops with Vault City’s own favourites for a citrusy, tropical sour IPA.

Common Ground: Affogato is the big one, a collaboration with Cloudwater blending their coffee forward imperial stout into Vault City’s vanilla laden barleywine. Rich coffee, chocolate and dark fruit meet sweet vanilla and proper boozy depth.

And Dripping In Mango rounds it off, a thick, creamy milkshake ale loaded with Alphonso mango and a big vanilla milkshake character.
