☀️ Another Summer Holiday Comes to an End! ☀️
What a fantastic summer it’s been — and we certainly can’t complain about the cracking weather we’ve had this year!
It’s been a busy few weeks on the park, with plenty going on for everyone to enjoy, including Kids Club, football, fun days, BBQs and golf days. ⛳⚽🍔
We’d like to take a moment to say a few very well-deserved thank yous to some of the people who have helped make this summer such a success.
👏 A huge thank you to Jane, who has put so much time and effort into organising activities for the children in the club, including bingo, pizza making and plenty of other games and entertainment. The kids have had a brilliant time!
⛳ Thank you to Alan Jackson for organising our golf days at Upchurch, as well as the upcoming golf day at Sittingbourne. Your efforts are very much appreciated.
⚽ A massive thank you to Clint for running the football sessions for the children, both on our park and at surrounding parks. He’s done a fantastic job with them, and at one point had more than 30 kids out there playing!
🍽️ We also need to say well done and thank you to all the girls in the kitchen and behind the bar, who have kept the children fed every day throughout Kids Club. It takes a real team effort and it certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed.
And last, but definitely not least, a special mention for one of our younger members of the team — Bailey.
While many youngsters are enjoying their school holidays, Bailey chooses to spend his working. Throughout the holidays, he’s been helping both in the club and around the park. Every morning he comes in and litter picks the entire site before heading into the club to help with glass collecting and whatever else needs doing.
That work ethic deserves some recognition — well done, Bailey! 👏
