Just wanted to say that although I have decided to sell the lease on The Copper Kettle, until its sold me and Mark will continue to to work full time making our lovely specials and roast dinners amongst other things. The cafe is absolutely not closing. It could be months before its sold so until then nothing has changed 😊

Looking back to 2017 and we had just bought the Copper Kettle. We were very excited about it and got stuck in. Then lock down arrived so we took the opportunity to refurb it while we had the time. John worked so hard and between us we gave it a complete makeover. I still love the orange and yellow 💛 🧡 and the way it stands out in the high street. Against the odds we have stayed busy, but since I lost my darling John a year ago my hearts no longer in it. As a family we need to make new memories and I need to retire! The cafe is going on the market with Hose Rhodes Dickson next week. It's a great little business in a great location. It could be even better with some fresh eyes. There is a studio apartment underneath the cafe which we lived in for 2 years, and a double garage with power light and water with parking for 2 cars, all included in a new 10 year lease. Entrance to the flat and garage is around the back of orchadleigh mews. There is an internal staircase to the flat and the storerooms below.
