Hi everyone who will be on the Island on the 5th July . Some of you know Derick and I have a charity called Kafuta Tumbung School Trust . Educating over 220 children in a remote Gambian village .

Friends of ours , Sarah & Michael , have made the generous offer to host an open gardens at their beautiful Georgian farmhouse in aid of the school . It is a ticket only event , £10 per person to include a traditional cream tea . It takes place on 5th July 1 -5.30pm , there will be parking. Tickets available at [email protected]

Chef Coryn and the team were inspected today by Environmental Health Officer and once more we got a big thumbs up and 5 stars . Which we have maintained for 20 seasons !!! Way to go team

It is with immense sadness that we announce that our old boy having reached over 21 years of age has passed . We know that many of you came to see him over the years and he so loved greeting you all . He filled our lives with love and he will be missed by so many. He was a truly extraordinary cat and our hearts are heavy
