Get your bread knives ready, because our legendary sourdough is making its grand return to the shelves!

True sourdough is a labor of love. Ours is slow-baked to perfection, using the traditional method with absolutely nothing else added—just flour, water, and salt. No shortcuts, no artificial additives, just pure, honest bread with that incredible depth of flavor and perfect chewy crumb.

🌒 PUTTING YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS 🍺

For the solar eclipse, we popped down for a pint at the pub of a good friend — and someone who’s been a fantastic supporter and patron of ours at the Two Brewers over the years.

A few months ago, he decided to take the plunge and run a pub himself.

And as anyone who’s ever stood on this side of the bar knows… it ain’t easy. 😅

Long hours, rising costs, difficult landlords, staffing, stock, kitchens, customers — and a thousand other things nobody sees.

But he’s doing it. He’s putting his money where his mouth is, giving it everything and building something of his own.

And fair play — there’s some seriously good food coming out of that kitchen too. Great pizzas and some cracking ideas on the menu. 🍕🔥

Independent pubs don't need to spend all their time looking at each other as competition. Sometimes you've just got to recognise when somebody else is grafting, get yourself down there, buy a pint and say:

Keep going.

Because running a pub is hard.

Running a good pub is even harder.

So from one publican to another — fair play, mate.
Keep going. 🍻

What a belter of a summer we’ve had at Ye Olde Two Brewers.

Sunshine, a packed garden, Fringe, live music, DJs, live music, dancing and more than a few afternoons that somehow turned into evenings… 🍻☀️

And one man has been an important ingredient in the soundtrack to it all:

Rob has been behind the decks throughout the summer, through Fringe and beyond, bringing his brilliant mix of Funk • Soul • Disco • House to the Brewers garden.

And he’s back again this Saturday! 🙌

Why should guitars and decks live in different worlds?

At Open Mic, someone takes a song they love and plays it their way.

At Open Decks, someone takes the music they love and builds a set around it — finding the tracks, versions, mixes and moments that make them want to turn it up.

Different equipment.
Different skills.
Same reason we do it. MUSIC. ❤️

So this Saturday we're bringing the two together for the first time.

🎤 6–8pm — OPEN MIC NIGHT
Sing. Play. Perform. Share.
Acoustic or amplified. Originals or covers. Experienced performer or first time behind a microphone — come and have a go.

Then we swap microphones for mixers…

🎧 8–10pm — OPEN DECK NIGHT
Your decks. Your tunes. Your night.
15–20 minute sets. All styles welcome.

House? Disco? D&B? Jungle? Techno? Funk? Garage? Old Skool? Something we've never even heard of?

Bring it.

Because underneath it all, we're performers.

Some of us have six strings.
Some have two decks.
Some have a microphone.
Some have a USB stick full of absolute weapons. 😂

But the glue holding the whole thing together is music.

No egos. No musical tribes. No “our scene versus your scene.”

Just people sharing music they genuinely love.
