This FRIDAY at 8PM, we have the fabulous Jazz & Blues Band Indigo lounge joining us! 🎷🎺🎶

So forget chairs, pavements and all the village drama…

🚨 BREAKING NEWS! 🚨

Well folks… it’s official. The council have revoked our pavement licence following a complaint. 😱

So, sadly, our lovely pavement tables have officially been sent into early retirement. 🪑💔

To our mystery complainant(s)… I hope you’re happy now! 😂 We’d hate for anyone to lose sleep knowing someone was enjoying a drink while sitting on a table outside our premises. ☕️😉

BUT… where there’s a will, there’s a way! 💪

We’ve found a loophole… well, not so much a loophole as two tables that are NOT on the pavement! On private land !!! 😂🙌

So fear not, you can still sit, relax, enjoy your drink, and watch the world go by — just with slightly fewer tables than before.

You can take away our pavement licence, but you can’t take away our determination! 😂

See you at the tables! ❤️☕️

Well… after much thought, we’ve decided to wave goodbye to our three little bistro tables. 👋🍷

It seems they’ve become rather more controversial than we ever imagined or feel they deserve!!!

Following repeated complaints about the occasional glass of wine or someone enjoying a charcuterie board we’ve decided to remove them altogether. Sometimes the easiest solution is simply not to have them.

The good news? We’ll be selling the tables and chairs, with 100% of the money going to the Beer Regatta Fund, so at least something positive will come from it. ❤️

So if your interested in a table which has be the middle of quite a few great evening contact us and put in a bid !!!!

Our intention has always been to make Osbornes a welcoming place for locals and visitors alike, encouraging people to spend time in the village and support its businesses. We’ll continue doing exactly that—just without three little bistro tables , outside

You really couldn’t make it up… but onwards and upwards! 🍻
