Hey All!
Just wanted to make it known that The Terrace Arts Cafe will be running a more limited menu selection & shortened opening hours going forwards, at least throughout the summer period due to a number of factors - including that two of our more familiar faces (Zach and Toby) are leaving to pursue their own new adventures this July. So please wish them well & bear with as the cafe transitions into a ‘new normal’ over the coming months 🙂

We’ll be opening again next week from 11:30-3pm, Tuesday until Friday. We will update the website (& here of course) when we’re able to open more often and serve a broader selection of meals again. Thanks for understanding & hope to see you soon!

Hello everyone! Just wanted to let you know that all staff have fully completed their self isolation and we are now open again as of Tuesday the 10th! Hope to see you soon :)

As a quick reminder - please continue to bring face masks and try to social distance as much as possible when visiting us. Covid is very much still circulating in the area.

Whilst the government have eased their lockdown restrictions, we still believe it’s important to protect our staff and customers from Covid-19 which is circulating around East Devon at an alarming rate. We’ve taken great pride in making our café a safe and inviting environment during this pandemic, and want to remain open. A member of the team getting sick would mean us all having to isolate and close again, which would be devastating.

Continuing to wear a face mask until being seated and keeping a distance from others whenever possible is strongly encouraged and appreciated by all of us at The Terrace Arts Café. It’s a small compassionate gesture that makes others feel more at ease, and can potentially save lives & businesses. Unless there is a genuine medical exemption, please bring your mask when visiting us. If unwilling to do so, we are happy to serve you out on our terrace seating area at the front entrance of the café.

We’re all in this together, in protecting others and the NHS.

We're busy getting ready for our planned reopening date on Tuesday 18th! Looking forward to seeing you all again very soon!!

We're also slightly amending our opening hours, it will now be Tuesday until Saturday, 10am until 3pm for the time being. A full list of updates is on our website (linked below). Original post: After only a few days of being open again after our short Christmas break, Devon is now in Tier 3 Restrictions and sadly it means we have to shut our doors once more to help slow the spread of Covid :( BUT some small good news is that from today we'll be trialing a Takeaway lunch service! To learn more click on the link below where there'll be information on how & when to get some delicious food prepared for you to enjoy on the beach or in your own home.
