We’re sad to announce that our Cafebar will be closing its doors, with our final day of trading being this Sunday.

This is not an easy goodbye. We want to say a huge thank you to every member of our staff, past and present, for all your hard work, dedication, laughs and memories. We simply couldn’t have done it without you.

And to all of our wonderful customers thank you for your support, loyalty and friendship over the last year. Whether you popped in every day or just visited now and then, you’ve all been a huge part of our journey and helped make 1838 what it was.

We’d love to see as many of you as possible before we close, so please come in and join us for one last visit this weekend.

Just a little update from us…

As of today, and for the next couple of weeks while the warmer weather is here, we’ll be taking a short break from serving our Sunday roasts.

Our full main menu will still be available all day, with plenty of favourites to enjoy.

Today is also your LAST chance to get your hands on our Chicken Parmo Burger and Pulled Pork Pizza before they leave the specials board!

We’ll also have live music in the restaurant from 1pm until 3pm this afternoon 🎶

✨ Good Morning Everyone! ✨

We’re starting the day at the opening of the new BELSTAFF store at Dalton Park! 🎉

From 10am, you’ll find us outside handing out complimentary drinks to the first 50 customers, so come along and say hello.

Then it’s back to 1838, where our Chicken Parmo Burger is flying out the kitchen! 🍔

Crispy chicken topped with creamy béchamel sauce, melted mozzarella and garlic mayo, all served in a pretzel bun. Safe to say, it’s a winner. 😍

And tonight, we’re joined by the lovely Izzy Summers, performing live from 6pm to 8pm. 🎶
