💚An Update on Our Mum💚
After 23 long days, three different hospital admissions, three cardiac arrests and a heart operation, we can finally say something we have been longing to say…
Claire (our mum) is HOME💚
It has been the most frightening, emotional and exhausting 23 days imaginable. Mum has fought the best fight, showing a strength that we honestly cannot put into words, we are so incredibly proud of her and so very thankful that we have been able to bring her home.
We know so many of you have been asking for updates, checking in, sending messages and keeping Mum in your thoughts.
We cannot thank you enough for every single message, kind words and the support you have shown our family.
We also want to say a massive thank you to every paramedic, doctor, nurse, surgeon and consultant who has cared for Mum over these past 23 days (we know some of you amazing people are reading this)
From the first moments when her life was in the balance, through the 3 cardiac arrests she suffered, hospital transfers, treatment and her heart operation you have all played a part in getting our mum home.
We will be forever grateful💚
For now, Mum's job is simply to rest, recover and get stronger, one day at a time although she’s already trying to tell us she will be back at the cafe in no time😅
Thank you all for being so patient, understanding and supportive while our family has been going through this. We know how much you have all wanted an update, and we are so happy that this one is finally a good one.
Mum has fought the fight of her life and now the next chapter begins…💚
