Hattie Speight has been a proud cadet for 6 years and with turning 20 soon unfortunately she ages out. Wanting to give back she has decided to to walk a marathon on Sunday 11th October to fundraise for Scarborough Air Cadets, but this time, our squadron’s own cadets will be working together to plan the route, putting their navigation and expedition training into practice.

All proceeds will go towards supporting the cadets, whether it be by helping with funds for camps and courses or upgrading training equipment. She would greatly appreciate any donations. For more information, and to donate, visit the link below.

RAF Air cadets is a youth organisation supporting young people aged 12 to 20 to develop new skills, build a passion for aviation and learn valuable skills to use in life, such as first aid, leadership, teamwork and public service.

We have just about recovered from the weekend. We had an amazing group of people hire us for a private event. They had food platters, cocktails a singer and we absolutely loved it.

Thanks to Hatties creativity ..,.. Coffee, chocolate and a seriously good scone! It’s rich, indulgent and made for a weekend treat. Just look at that chocolate drizzle! 🤎

The only question is… coffee with it, or is that too much coffee? 😄

Grind & Tonic was created to be much more than somewhere to grab a coffee. The aim is to become a real hub for people, businesses and the local community, a welcoming place to meet, connect and share ideas.

Whether you’re interested in putting on Pop up restaurant, music nights, networking events, social evenings, workshops or something completely different, come and have a chat with us.
