Fantastic day had for our charity golf day yesterday!! We managed to raise £650 which is excellent this wouldn’t be possible without everyone’s generosity. Big Thankyou to Liam Sugden and the enterprise team for setting the golf course up and helping with raffle tickets. The halfway house ladies Gill Don and Vicky Buckle for keeping everyone refreshed and organised. Lucy Murton for been the starter telling people rules and sorting handicaps and money out. Filey Golf Club for Letting us use there fantastic facilities and course. I Really do appreciate everyone’s help it takes a lot for a day like this to run smoothly. With me honouring Member Wednesday prices for the last two England games that fell on a Wednesday, I've decided that for the semi-final, Members wednesday prices will finish at 5:30pm.
This will help the club make the most of what are typically the quieter summer months, and I hope you all understand and support the decision.

After a lot of thought, I've made the difficult decision not to open tonight for the England game.
Unfortunately, with no other pubs in Filey opening for the match, and the forecast showing the possibility of further delays due to lightning strikes, I don't feel it's the right decision to open.
I appreciate this may be disappointing, and I'm sorry for any inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding, and let's hope England can get the job done wherever you're watching!
