⚽ A little heads up for Wednesday…

England take on Argentina in the World Cup semi-final on Wednesday evening, so we’ll be closing a little earlier than usual.

🕚 Open: 11am – 8pm
🍔 Last food orders: 7pm

A couple of reasons why…

Firstly, there are loads of brilliant pubs and bars across Scarborough that are much better set up to show live football than we are, so if you’re heading out to watch the match, you’ll be well looked after.

Secondly, we’re right in the middle of one of our busiest Open Air Theatre seasons yet. Our team have been working their absolute socks off, serving thousands of you over the last few weeks, and they deserve the chance to get home, put their feet up and cheer England on too. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Thanks, as always, for your understanding and your support. We’ll be back open as normal on Thursday, ready to do it all again.

🎶 Bastille fans, welcome to The Hideout! 🍔🍻

Today’s shaping up to be another huge one, so if you’re joining us before heading over to the Open Air Theatre, we’d recommend getting down nice and early.

We’ve now switched off table bookings between 3:30pm and 7:00pm so our team can keep on top of the demand. Our outside terrace is completely unreserved though, so if you fancy eating or drinking outside, just turn up and grab a table while they’re there.

A quick note about the football… ⚽ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

We won’t be showing the England match tonight. There are plenty of fantastic pubs and bars across Scarborough that are much better set up for live sport than we are.

After weeks of back-to-back sold out gig nights, our team have worked their absolute socks off. They deserve the chance to finish service, put their feet up and watch the match themselves.

We’ve been having a play in the kitchen this afternoon, and the results have gone down an absolute storm with the team…

Tonight promises to be our biggest day on record.

This is the fifth Open Air Theatre show in a row that we’ve catered for, and after an incredibly busy weekend, we’ve spent the morning restocking, replenishing and getting ourselves ready to go again.

A quick heads up: we’ve now stopped accepting reservations between 3:30pm and 7pm to help us manage what we expect to be a huge demand. Tables can still be booked before and after those times, and our outside terrace remains unreserved…so get down early.

We also just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s chosen to spend part of their concert day with us over the last week. The support has been genuinely incredible.

And finally, a massive thank you to our team, who have been working their absolute socks off through five huge events on the bounce. We couldn’t be prouder of them. ❤️

If you’re heading to the Open Air Theatre tonight, we’re ready for another busy one. 🍔🍕🍻

A quick heads up: we’re now very busy between 5pm and 7pm, so we’ve temporarily switched off online bookings during that peak period. Tables are still available to book before 5pm and after 7pm.

Our outside terrace remains completely unreserved, so if you fancy pre-gig food and drinks in the sunshine, just head down and we’ll do our best to get you sorted.

Also, a little plea from us after yesterday’s madness 🙏🏻during the peak period, our team are flat out serving hundreds of guests, so it’s not always possible for us to answer the phone straight away. If you can’t get through, please bear with us; we’re probably just working our socks off looking after everyone already through the door.

Thanks for your patience and support. Now let’s get you fed, watered, and ready to go. 🎶🍻
