Have you got what it takes to join the brilliant Friday Street Team? 👀

We’re recruiting for two key roles, both playing a big part in the day-to-day running of our hugely popular Kitchen and Drive-Thru.

🍳 Drive-Thru Cook

Know your way around a kitchen? Keen to make your mark on a growing food-led business on the Suffolk coast?

Our Drive-Thru is still a relatively new part of Friday Street, and we’re looking for someone who can become a key part of its future — preparing great food quickly, keeping things running smoothly and helping us shape and develop what the Drive-Thru becomes. You’ll also prepare food for our Kitchen and Farm Shop.

☕ Kitchen / Drive-Thru Assistant

More of a people person? This role puts you right at the heart of the action — welcoming and serving customers, taking orders, preparing drinks and helping with breakfasts and light lunches across our Kitchen and Drive-Thru.

For both roles, we’re looking for friendly, reliable people who enjoy getting stuck in. Friday Street can get seriously busy, so you’ll need to work well as part of a team and keep smiling when the pace picks up.

Come and work somewhere with great food, great people, and plenty going on.

It has been lovely to see so many people enjoying the sunflowers🌻

Different generations. New parents and new couples. Families and friends. People simply spending time together in the sunshine.

It’s a scene that Pauline, co-founder of Friday Street, would have cherished.

We lost Pauline earlier this year, and it’s in her memory that all profits from our PYO sunflowers are being donated to the Motor Neurone Disease Association — supporting their incredible work and the search for a cure.

Thank you to everyone who came to see us today. It really has been special to see.

And there’s plenty more to come — with thousands of sunflowers still waiting to be enjoyed 🌻
