A 200 year-old pub, recently refurbished to form a traditional cosy village alehouse. The pub is entirely heated by wood - having a wood-fired range in the public bar (in which pies are heated during the winter) and a large woodburner in the lounge bar. The pub specialises in local produce, offering an ever-changing range of locally brewed real ale - served straight from the cask. Also available is a selection of locally made spirits, local ciders and soft drinks. Fairtrade and/or organic spirits are also available, as well as a small selection of locally made pies and pasties. A selection of traditional pub games, including bar billiards, darts and a few others are also available.

Fancy a bit of stitching, chatting and putting the world to rights?

Join us on Monday 28th September, 7–9pm for Knit & Natter at the White Horse.

No need to be an expert, just bring along whatever you’re working on — knitting, crochet, embroidery, sewing or anything else that involves making things and probably having a good natter.
