Just a reminder that Curiositea will be closed to the public this Saturday as we're hosting our Mamma Mia Bottomless Brunch! 💙🩷
🍹 If you're joining us, you're welcome to arrive from 2:00pm.
The bar will be open before the bottomless brunch starts, so come along early, grab a drink and get into the party spirit!
🎶 After the bottomless brunch finishes at 5:00 p.m., the party doesn't stop! We'll be staying open into the evening with:
🎤 Karaoke
🧠 A Mamma Mia quiz
🍹 Drinks available to purchase from the bar
💃 All your favourite ABBA hits!

Absolutely loved creating this fantastic 90s showstopper for Sophie's 40th birthday! 🩷
Three layers of rich chocolate sponge, three layers of classic vanilla sponge, and packed with iconic throwbacks including Pac-Man, Blockbuster, Trolls, cassette tapes, MTV, roller skates, disco balls and so much more... every little detail is guaranteed to unlock a memory! 📼🛼🪩
Definitely one of those cakes that makes you smile while you're making it! Happy 40th Sophie! Hope you havd the most amazing celebration. 🥂💕

🥚✨ The perfect Scotch Egg doesn't eggsist... ✨🥚

Oh wait... 😏

Made from scratch right here in our kitchen using pork & leek sausage meat, coated in golden sourdough breadcrumbs and wrapped around a beautifully jammy-yolked egg. 🤤

These beauties were flying out of the counter last week and we've already had 5 reserved today!

Served with a selection of our homemade salads for a proper lunch that's as delicious as it looks.
Available while they last... and judging by last week, that might not be long! 👀

🚨 SHE'S BACK! 🚨

After what feels like forever (and a fair bit of improvising behind the scenes 😅), our brand new display fridge is finally here and looking rather gorgeous if we do say so ourselves...

Which means only one thing! The counter is once again bursting with homemade goodies including....

🫐 Lemon & Blueberry Sponge – this week's signature sponge and she's an absolute beauty.

🥚 Homemade Scotch Eggs! Golden, crispy and made right here in our kitchen.

🧀 Our customer favourite! Chorizo, Red Pepper & Red Leicester Quiche, because some things are classics for a reason.

🍰 Homemade cakes and bakes galore brownies, blondies, rocky road, loaf cakes, traybakes and plenty more besides.

The only problem now is deciding what to have first... 👀

Pop in, grab a coffee and help us fill the new fridge with empty spaces again.

Can we all just take a moment for THIS absolute feast then 👀✨

Tuesday night’s grazing table for the Mayor’s Making and honestly… we may have outdone ourselves a little bit 🤌
Homemade quiches ✔️
Homemade apple, pork & stuffing sausage rolls ✔️
Millionaires blondies & fudgy brownies ✔️
Chocolate covered strawberries ✔️
Prawn cocktails & Caesar salad pots ✔️
Cheese boards loaded with charcoal cheese, seaweed cheese and all the picky bits ✔️
Wraps, sandwiches, pastries, Scotch eggs, cheesecake pots, desserts… honestly the table just kept growing 😂
Almost everything on this table was homemade by us and if there’s one thing we DON’T do around here it’s stingy portions 👀
The best part? Watching people do that little “oooo what’s THAT?” lap around the table before going back for “just one more thing” 😭😂
Thank you so much for having us cater such a lovely evening 🫶

3 cakes in 3 days? Completed it mate 💁🏼‍♀️🎂
All 3 were our signature fudgey chocolate cake because once you’ve got a good chocolate cake recipe you don’t mess with it 👀
🍫 One filled with caramel chocolate ganache
🍫 One with classic chocolate ganache
🤍 And one with white chocolate ganache
Obviously the diva of the family had to be extra with her cake 💅✨
Safe to say the kitchen’s survived on caffeine, chaos and chocolate this week 😂
