🚨 Saltcoats – The Christmas Carnival Needs You! 🎄

For many years the Saltcoats Christmas Carnival has brought festive magic to our town… but without new volunteers and committee members the Carnival will not be able to continue.

We are inviting local people, businesses and community groups to come along to our 2026 AGM and hear how you could help keep this much-loved event going.

Coming along doesn’t commit you to anything — it’s simply a chance to hear about the Carnival and see how you might like to get involved.

The Carnival has always been run by a small group of passionate volunteers, and we now need fresh ideas, new energy and community support to keep it alive.

Chat for Charity
Ayrshire Cancer Support is excited to announce the launch of 'Chat for Charity', a community-driven fundraising initiative set to take place across Ayrshire on Friday 24th October.

This heartfelt campaign invites all residents to make a meaningful difference in their community by having 'A Warm Cup with a Cause' in support of Ayrshire Cancer Support.

Just want to take a quick moment to thank some people. Thank you to the wonderful Shona McVey for a great night of fabulous music along with Starlite Entertainment for providing the sound and lights free of charge. Huge thank you to The Lauriston Hotel for gifting us use of the venue for free! We raised £1658.50!! What a night it was! All money raised goes towards the Christmas Event for this year for the kids in the community!! Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets! Hope to see you again soon at our next fundraiser on Friday 19th September. A night at the races! With the best chanter around Mr Mark Findlay!! Tickets on Sale now!!
