Its time for our annual Salford Calçotada!
On Saturday 21st February we'll be firing up the wood fired barbecues once again to celebrate this traditional Catalan festival and grilling some of the best produce the region has to offer.
For those that don't know, Calçots are somewhere between a leek and a spring onion, traditionally charred on a BBQ becoming almost sweet to taste and served with a romesco sauce to dip them in. They are both delicious and fun to eat.
Along side the Calçots we will be serving a traditional 'Parrillada de carne' (a super tasty mixed grill cooked over the fire), with a classic Crema Catalana available to finish off.
We open at 12 noon and the BBQ will be grilling all day. As always we don't take bookings so just come along and we will help you find a table. Full menu available dip in and out of our Catalan specials as you wish!
